Favourite Pokemon

Jaden: You know, I'm surprised that no one has requested this one because it's quite popular on Youtube.

Lucas: Yeah, usually people are interested in this.

Jaden: Well, if you haven't read the title yet, I will be counting my top 10 favourite Pokemon.

Lucas: Quick note, you'll be seeing a lot of Electric and Steel types. Those are his favourite types.

Jaden: Let's get started.

Number 10

Jaden: When Sun and Moon was first introduced, the starters were interesting. Rowlet looked cool, Litten looked cute and Popplio. Popplio looked kind of odd in my opinion. When I started playing it once it came out, I chose Rowlet and named him after my favourite TV series, Doctor Who. Once it became Decidueye, I couldn't stop liking it even more.

Lucas: What did you like the most?

Jaden: His signature move, Spirit Shackle, has by far the best animation out of the three and his Z-Move looks amazing. I like him so much, I chose him again in Ultra Moon. I've heard that the grass starter doesn't get that much love, but Sun and Moon have changed that.

Number 9

Jaden: Ah, the 1st generation, the one that started it all. Everyone knows how great it was to play through Kanto, finding the first 151 Pokemon. Though, when it came to starters, many people fought over who's better, Charizard or Blastoise. Me, well screw those people because I chose Venusaur.

Lucas: You chose the least popular one?

Jaden: Yes, but if you chose him instead of the others, Kanto would be easy to go through. Basically, choosing the starters was like choosing what mode to play. Bulbasaur is easy, Squirtle is medium and Charmander is hard. Also, once it got its mega evolution, it became one of the most common megas in competitive battle.

Lucas: That is true, so many Pokemon Youtubers use Mega Venusaur in competitive.

Number 8

Jaden: Legenadries are very powerful Pokemon and catching one by yourself is an achievement. Unless you use a Master Ball, but that's not the case. I have always liked this legendary mainly because of how good it is in battle. This spot goes to Jirachi, the wish making Pokemon.

Lucas: Hold on a minute, isn't Jirachi a Mythical Pokemon?

Jaden: Well, on Bulbapedia, Mythicals count as Legendaries so yes.

Lucas: Ok then.

Jaden: Anyone who knows how frustrating it is to go up against one of these. It's ability is Serene Grace making it very overpowered. Also, I recently got a Pokemon Rom called Onyx Blue and the starters are Jirachi, Celebi and Mew. I chose Jirachi because that Pokemon is by far the best out of the three. Anyone who hates this Pokemon probably is because they got beaten by it in competitive.

Number 7

Jaden: The third generation of Pokemon was interesting, it introduced many great Pokemon out there. Upon beginning my adventure, I stumbled upon one of the greatest Pokemon I've ever used. Swampert.

Lucas: Of course.

Jaden: Swamperts typing makes it very powerful as it's only weakness is Grass. It is my favourite starter by far and his mega evolution is amazing. Also, in Ultra Moon, I Island Scanned for it and used it in my main team too.

Number 6

Jaden: Before Black and White came out, I looked at all the legendaries. I like Electric type Pokemon but they weren't any good Electric type legendaries. Zapdos was okay, Raikou looked cool but then they introduced a new one. On the number 6 spot, we have Zekrom.

Lucas: Are you choosing him because your favourite colour is blue and it uses blue lightning.

Jaden: Yes, and because it is absolutely powerful. Also, the animation when using Bolt Strike is just so mesmerising. I could watch it for days.

Number 5

Jaden: When I play through Pokemon, I usually don't use legendaries that much. I don't use it too much in competitive or an actual journey to be honest. But when I played Black 2 though, 1 legendary stayed by my side throughout the game. Cobalion, the leader of the Swords of Justice.

Lucas: I think he's the most liked one.

Jaden: This Pokemon is amazing, his design looks cool, he looks majestic with his posture and he's very powerful in battle. Overall, this is my favourite legendary Pokemon because I picture Cobalion standing above many Pokemon after defeating them. He's the champion of Legendaries.

Number 4

Jaden: You know, bug types aren't really popular, especially how bad they were during the first generation. But when the Steel type came out though, they introduced a bug that many would want to use. That's right, I'm talking about Scizor.

Lucas: Dude, Scizor's amazing.

Jaden: I know right, he's good at competitive, his mega evolution is amazing, he only has one weakness and his design is the best. That red metal colour is so cool, it makes him look like Iron Man. Hey, my Scizor in Ultra Moon is named Iron Man.

Number 3 

Jaden: At first, I didn't think much of this Pokemon really. But when I started watching GameboyLuke, it changed a lot. Rotom has become one of my favourites. I really like his ability to control appliances and change type that way. It's a really cool mechanic.

Lucas: He even has a Gameboy Rotom on his banner too.

Jaden: I've used it a lot in battle and I even had it on my main team in Ultra Moon because I transferred a Rotom egg from my Moon game into it. That way, Rotom could be with me throughout the journey.

Number 2

Jaden: Many people have liked this Pokemon, it is considered one of the most popular Pokemon in general. I'm talking about the steel canine fighter, Lucario.

Lucas: Basically everyone who plays Pokemon loves Lucario.

Jaden: Correct, his design is good, his mega is cool, his moveset is powerful, heck, even Death Battle used him as a combatant.

Lucas: Wait, if you like it so much and it's popular, why is it number 2?

Jaden: Well, just like AuraGuardian, there's a Pokemon I like more than Lucario.

Number 1

Jaden: Some of you might have known that his one was coming. Anyways, my most favourite Pokemon is Luxray. While playing through Pokemon Diamond, I stumbled upon a Shinx and as time went by, it became Luxray, my all time favourite.

Lucas: It's true, it's on his banner.

Jaden: This was the first Pokemon I ever caught when I first played Pokemon and this caused me to love him as I grew older. And when Sun and Moon introduced the QR Island Scan, I was so happy that Luxio was an option.
