Miles Vincent Pov:-
"Mum I'm back" I yelled though the house once i entered i just got back from the hospital.
"Honey I'm in my room, finish packing your room the moving trucks will be here in a few minutes" she yelled back
Walking to my room i put the things that i took out the boxes back into them and quickly cleaned the room.
I heard a knock on the door and since i was beside it i opened it.
"A Mary called and said you didn't have to go to work for a week she said they were remodeling the place."
"Oh thanks Mum."
"You didn't tell me you had a job."
"I just wanted to get the rest of the money for collage"
"I'm sorry baby i know you want to go but i promise tomorrow I'll go out and find a job and in no time you will ok plus we have the rest of summer to collect the thousand so don't worry
we will do it ok i promise baby I'll do everything i can for a fresh start" she kissed my forehead
"Thank you Mum."
"By the way the moving trucks are here should i tell them to come here to get you things"
"Sure mum"
She left and i took the box and walked out to the moving truck about half an hour we were done my mum thanked and hugged her friend Jessica then told me to take her of my mum and to visit her and not forget her.
"You ready for a fresh start?" Mum told me once we were in the car and the moving truck behind us
"So ready" i told her
Finally we got there and was about to get out when a kid my age came up to me.
"Hey man I'm Nathan Skyes we live across from you guys i thought you might need help with the moving"
"Thanks Nathan I'm Miles and this is my mum Lucy" (AN: Not sure if i named her but I will call her Lucy from here) i answered
"Nice to meet you Ma'aM I'm Nathan."
"Thank you for your offer Nathan it's nice to meet you too."
About an Hour we got everything in the house and the moving truck went away.
"Honey I'm going to go shopping for food seeing as we don't have anything want to come with me?" she asked
"No mum but I'll stay here with Nathan and play video games." i said
"Ok want anything from there?" she asked
"Popcorn."
"of course you do; well I'm off don't break anything Miles."
"Mum that was once."
she laughed and walked out getting into her car and drove away.
I went to look in my new room for the box that had my Xbox when i found it and carried it into the living room.
"So what did you break?" Nathan asked
"I broke the table by accident because i got angry that i lost in an online game and though the controller on it"
"Wow man someone has angry issues huh?" he said
" Hey he cheated ok."
"Sure man" he said while laughing
we set the game and played COD for while when my mum called so i could help her with the bags.
"Btw Ma'aM you and Miles are invited for dinner in our house at nine." Nathan told my mum
"Thank you for the invite."
