“So it’s ok with you? I mean I don’t want to cause any trouble.”
“I’m sure and plus it’s no trouble at all.”
I quickly called Nathan telling him the Ok, getting into the car I drove towards home.
I found my mom plating everything and writing on it so Nathan knows what to do with it.|
I kissed my Mom’s cheek and took the basket with everything I needed and placed it in the car.
I quickly went inside my room and changed into something a casual.
Driving towards where Nathan said he parked I dropped the basket and went to the flowers shop to get her Tulips since it’s her favorite.
“What can I get you sir?” The owner asked
“I would like a dozen purple Tulips?”
“Every well then it will only take a minute”
I waited for the flowers then I paid the man and drove towards Caroline’s house.
Knocking on the door I waited for someone to open the door.
“Oh Hello Miles it’s nice to see you again.”
“Likewise Mrs. K”
“Please take care of her Miles she’s all I got.” Her mom said
“I will with all my might Mrs. K”
“Here you can go upstairs oh and give her these she’s probably looking for it that’s why she isn’t down yet.”
“Thank you.”
I put the flowers behind my hand and her shoes in the other hand behind my back I walked to her room and I could see her head beside the bed.
“Hey you ok?” I asked
“Yes, sorry I kept you waiting.” She answered
I could see she was putting whatever she took out back into the box
“What’s behind your back?” She asked after everything is done
“Well these are for you” I took my right hand from my back and handed her the purple tulips
“Miles these are my favorite.” she said smelling them
“I know, I asked your mom and specking of your mom she told me to give you these said you probably are looking for them.”
I handed her her white Converse but I didn’t stop there I held her hand and walked her towards the bed and asked her to sit down and helped her wear her shoes not that she needed help.
“Come on your surprise is waiting for you.” I said after I was done tying her shoes
My phone buzzed and I quickly checked it and saw it was a text from Nathan saying everything was set.
she quickly got the flowers into the vase with water and on the window then we walked towards the door and into his car.
The drive towards our destination was filled with chatter i told her about what happened with my mom and we talked about our High School year.
When I finally stopped the car she looked at where we stopped.
“Miles Please tell me this is real.” She said once she was out the car with my help
“Caroline this is real” i whispered hugging her from the back
“I can’t believe this.” She said surprised
“Believe it baby” he said
“Why here?” she asked
“This is the place where I first bumped into you remember when I asked you for coffee?”
“Oh my I totally forget, this the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me”
“Nothing but the best for you.”
