Hey everyone! Not wanting to take up too much of your time. I just want to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you who is sticking with me on this latest WIP of mine. I know not everyone's a huge fan of superhero-fantasy genre, and it's really hard to write an AlDub story with this for a genre, but slowly I'm getting it done and I hope you are enjoying reading this as much as I enjoy writing it and discovering possibilities for future AlDub projects. With that out of the way, let's get back to story, shall we?

MAE'S IDEA WAS A SUCCESS. News of Alex's impromptu barista appearance at Cool Brews attracted more than their usual amount of patrons daily. Of course everyone who came the day after Alex's first day showing up behind the counter asked if he'll be back the same day next week.
Mae, who offered to help out at the cafe since quite a few of Casey's regular staff were among the injured from the bombing, was often the one who received said question. And since she knows firsthand (but the fans didn't know that she knows) Alex's schedule, she was able to drop hints on when he'll be by next (but that all depends on whether she deemed said fan deserved a bit of break and be told when to expect their idol or if said fan was a bit too much and Mae felt Alex was better off not encountering said fan).
"Okay ka lang?" Casey asked when she checked in on Mae after the end of the morning rush.
Alex gave Mae the day off since he too has a day off from taping and Annie didn't line up any other gigs for him to do for the next couple of days. Since it was her day off Mae text Casey and asked if she needed an extra pair of hands at the cafe, which Casey replied with a resounding 'yes, please!'.
"Yeah, kaya pa," Mae nodded.
"Salamat talaga ha? I don't know what I would've done kung hindi ka nag-offer na tumulong."
"Wala yun. Wala rin naman akong gagawin and intrigue ako to know kung nag-work yung plano natin."
"Sobra!" Casey chuckled. "When word got out that Alex was waiting on people behind the counter that day, ay sus! Line-up was all the way out the door."
"That's good," Mae smiled.
"Bakit nga pala wala ka nun? I thought you're his PA?"
"I wanted to be here, kaso lang merong family emergency," Mae explained.
