You hate to admit it, but after your short interaction with Connor the night before, you'd got the best sleep you had in a long time. Almost as if your near-death experience didn't actually happen, as if it was a fuzzy nightmare which you couldn't really remember. But, you could. You just had more, confusing, things on your mind at the moment. One of which being Connor, the Android send by Cyberlife.
Today when you wake up from your slumber, you feel refreshed. With the sudden motivation to actually get up and get ready for work, you hop up and stretch your limbs. After showering and getting dressed, you decide a cup of coffee would do you just fine.

"You're starting to piss me off with that coin, Connor." Hank snaps at a certain android, grabbing the coin he was flicking around. You'd been watching him silently, leant against the elevator wall, your arms crossed. You could tell since the three of you walked into the elevator that Hanky-poo would lose it at the constant flick flick of the coin soon enough. There was a break into this building, presumably done by a deviant. At this point in time, you had little details on what happened, but you'd soon find out.
"Sorry, Lieutenant..." You giggle at the tone of Connors' voice. He turns to you subtly and gives you a coy smile, but it only lasted a second. A moment later, a robotic voice alerts you all that you have reached the seventy-ninth floor of the building. The doors slide open with a ding, you and Hank take the lead and exit the elevator.
"Hi Hank, Y/N." An officer looks up to greet you both before looking back down at his tablet.
Hank looks around leisurely. "Shit, what's going on here? There was a party and nobody told me about it?" His voice is sarcastic and you can't help but roll your eyes.
"Yeah, it's all over the news, so everybody's butting their nose in..." The officer replies, ignoring your partner's comment. "Even the FBI wants a piece of the action..."
"Ah Christ, now we've got the Feds on our back..." You stand to the side and watch the interaction between the two. "I knew this was going to be a shitty day."
"Every day's a shitty day to you, Hank." You chime in sassily. He ignores you to continue his chat.
"So what do we got?"
After some talking and a relatively short explanation on what happened, it turns out that four deviants had infiltrated the building but did not kill any workers. This made you sigh in relief, for whatever reason. You pushed the thought into the back of your mind, deciding to focus solely on investigating.
You also take note that there was a video broadcasted by these deviants, which was evident to you by the large screen which displayed a deviant, probably the leader. Its skin was removed, showing the prosthetic white underneath which was a signature detail to every android.
"Oh Lieutenant, Sergent, this is special agent Perkins from the FBI." The officer introduces to you both. It was only then that you realised a man was standing in the middle of the room, too looking at the large screen with the deviant. "Lieutenant Anderson and his partner Sergeant L/N are in charge of investigating for Detroit Police."
Perkins slowly turns his attention to Hank, then you. His eyes show indifference like he wished he could be anywhere but here. His eyes don't linger on you for a moment longer than necessary before glancing over to Connor, who was standing slightly behind and next to you.
He looks Connor up and down. "What's that?" You agree with yourself, even his voice sounds bored.
"My name is Connor." He starts. You look at Hank, a mocking look on your face as you pretend to be the Android. You mouth the exact words you knew Connor was about to say. "I'm the android sent by Cyberlife." You, of course, are correct. Hank snickers silently at your silliness.
