"Test number fifteen." the medic commented. "This marks the completion of the first light year on our journey to whatever planet the computer decided on when we left. Since then, all crewmates have discovered they have capabilities similar to telekinesis, or the ability to relocate objects without touching them. I am not excluded from this; as a result, I am the primary specimen in this examination. I understand that this will result in bias, and I fully intend to compare my results with those of my peers. For now, however, the test continues." He stood up and walked to the corner of the room. He had placed a beaker on the medical bed in the centre and stretched a hand out to it. "Applying telekinetic force on my mark." he counted to five in his head. "Mark." he raised his hand gently. The beaker quivered from his inexpert touch but soon hovered a good foot off of the bed. "Beaker is levitating. My lack of expertise with this ability means the beaker is shaky. Once I am more practised, I believe that it will be more sturdy in its motions." he let it down again and sighed. "Other passengers see this as a wonderful gift of sorts, but I can only advise extreme caution with this untested power. None are willing to heed this caution, and telekinesis is now considered a daily part of life." he sighed. "Computer, re-engage gravity." the room grew heavier as the medbay's artificial gravity was returned. "Gravity seems to diminish the effects of telekinesis, though the lack of any force above 0.2G allows for continued use. This ends test number fifteen." he clicked the button to close the recording. "I need some lunch."
