I don't know what to write about today. Been staring at the screen for half an hour, no dice. Even the writing prompts subreddit doesn't have anything to help me out. I don't think that it'd be worth discussing even more of the urban fantasy without actually starting it, and I can't think of any of the short stories to write...
Well, let's look at how I've done so far. It's clear that I'm doing well with the writing itself. The main issue is that I'm falling into similar tropes. Not really sure how to go about fixing it, either, I'm not getting much feedback. The best I have for now is to avoid cliffhangers since I rely on those a lot. Makes sense, I try to lead it on to a potential following, but it is getting a bit repetitive. Solutions are nice and easy; either wrap it up in two parts, similar to what my father suggested, or just finish writing that story where it is. After all, the shortest story I know is just six words. How come I can't finish a story in nearly 84 times that amount? I need to start, continue and end in one post here, they're usually about 500 words. Should be easy enough, I just need to make a more concrete plot.
Annnnnnnnnd that's all I've got, feedback-wise. For the few of you that do read this, I urge - no, beg - you to reply to this. I'll consider any and all feedback! Please, I want to improve, but without knowing where I'm going wrong I can't improve. I'm relying on you guys! Thanks for reading!
