Nathan came to pick us up, and we headed our way to the party.

"You guys look nice," Nathan said, mostly eyeing Sarah.

"Thank you," I said, smiling at him as Sarah blushed, looking anywhere but at Nathan.

When Nathan arrived at my house, he couldn't keep his eyes off of Sarah. He was speechless, and it was an adorable sight to see.

We came to a stop at a large house with music blaring outside. Cars were parked all around, and to our luck, we found one right in front of the house.

We exited the car and made our way inside.

"Are you guys excited?" Nathan asked, dancing to the music right away. We chuckled, nodding our heads.

"How about we go get a drink!" Nathan said, grabbing my hand while I grabbed Sarah as he let us to the table where all the drinks were placed.

Handing us both a shot. I didn't waste any time before taking it and gulping it down. It had been a long while before I even had a drink, and tonight I wasn't going to let anything hold me back.

After all the things that happened, I wanted to forget everything that happened with Liam. I needed an escape, and if alcohol does the trick, then so be it.

One-shot turned into many, and adrenaline was coursing through my veins, and I was having the time of my life. I snatched them, pulling them to the dance floor.

We danced to the song jumping up and down, having the best times of our lives. I didn't have one care in the world, and I wanted to have fun.

I continued dancing before getting thirsty and decided on getting another drink.

"I'm going to go get another drink," I said to Sarah.

"What?" She yelled, not being able to hear me because of the loud music.

"I SAID IM GOING TO GO GET ANOTHER DRINK!" I said louder this time. "OH, OKAY!" She nodded her head.

I laughed at her and made my way to the table of drinks. I decided to pour myself another shot of vodka, but someone grabbed my hand before I even had the chance to.

They dragged me into a small room, locking the door behind them.

"Haven't you had enough?" He asked. I knew that voice all too well.

"Liam?" So much for forgetting him tonight.

What was he doing here? The only reason I came was to get an escape, but no matter how much I wanted to, he was always there, ruining my fun.

I turned to look at him and noticed his face was beaten and bruised everywhere. He had a giant scar on his cheeks, and his left eyes were a big ball of purple. I was surprised he was able to keep it open. There was a cut right next to his eyebrow covered in dry blood and another cut next to his lips. His arm was wrapped around some bandage. And he looked like he was in pain.

"What happened to you?" I asked him.

"That doesn't matter, does it? When you are here. What the fuck are you doing here?" he asked, stepping closer to me.

"I was invited," I said, flipping my hair to the side. The sudden rush of confidence waved over me. It was definitely the alcohol that was the reason for this, but I didn't care.

I wasn't going to put up with him tonight.

"Watch who you're talking to," he said.

"Who am I talking to, uh? Definitely not the president," I rolled my eyes looking off to the side. He grabbed my neck, pushing me the wall slamming me against it.
