Drake

Shea and Naomi approached us, giggling about something. I could tell Shea was interested in Naomi, it was so obvious. She probably thought I'd take her actions as her trying to be some sort of wingman for me and give me and Amarisse some alone time, but truth was she just wanted to talk to Naomi herself. It was rather amusing, to say the least.

I was still face first in the grass, still reeling from the kiss between Amarisse and I. I wasn't sure what came over me, I just knew I had to kiss her. Something about those blue eyes just turned me into putty and I couldn't tell if I hated it or loved it. Her blue aura taunted me, reminding me just how off limits she really was, but I found that I didn't care anymore. I just wanted to give in to the little devil on my shoulder that told me she was worth it.

"Drake!" Shea dropped down on top of me, sitting on my back and pinning me to the ground. "What in the heavens are you doing?"

"Suffocating because you're so heavy," I groaned as I placed my hands below my shoulders and did a pushup to breathe again.

"I'll get off if you do ten more," Shea teased and I looked to see Amarisse eyeing me.

I shot her a wink turned my body, flipping Shea off of my back and straight onto the ground. That earned a giggle from all three of the girls and I stood up, brushing the dirt off the front of my chest. "Let's head out, Shea-bear."

Shea rolled her eyes and picked herself up off the ground while grumbling, "I'm not five, don't you dare use that god forsaken nickname."

I threw her towel at her and snickered. "Yeah, whatever." I picked my shirt up off the ground and pulled it over my head, before turning to Naomi and Amarisse.

"We should all meet up here tonight, maybe have a few drinks? It could be so much fun!" Shea suggested, catching me off guard as she gripped onto Naomi's arm. "We'll bring the booze if you two bring the snacks."

"We'll totally be here!" Naomi grins excitedly.

I looked to Amarisse, who looked anxious. While Naomi and Shea were both distracted by each other, I pulled Amarisse aside. "Will that be a problem? We don't have to meet tonight if that gets in the way of anything," I gave her hands a reassuring squeeze before teasing her. "Say, I don't know, a date?"

"No, it's not that." She said looking horrified. "I just, uh, nothing. We'll be here!" She smiled a perfect smile that I immediately knew was fake.

"We'll be here at nine, okay?" I reached my hand around her head and pulled her in, giving her a quick kiss on her forehead. I was unsure if she would really show up tonight, but I definitely hoped she would.

"Okay, we'll be here then." She said quietly, but definitely more sure of the fact that she would be here. Making me feel better.

Shea and I grabbed our things before waving goodbye and heading back home. Once the girls were no longer in sight, Shea nudged me.
