Chapter 8: Girl's Night

Sophia's POV

Thursday morning, we were at school preparing for 1st period. At lunchtime, me, Scarlette, Rose, Felix and Elliot were talking to each other, then Scarlette had an amazing idea.

Scarlette: Do you guys wanna have a slumber party?

Rose: Sure! We could do it at Sophia's house

Sophia: Why at my house?

Scarlette: Becauseeee we haven't really gone to your house yet

Sophia: okay fine, but it has to be girls only because boys are not allowed to sleep over in my house

Felix & Elliot: Awww

Girls: *laughs*

Scarlette: hahaha sorry boys looks like it's girls night

Sophia: Ask your parents first then come to my house before 7. I'll text you girls the address

Both Rose and Scarlette agreed.

The bell rang, it was dismissal time and Scarlette wanted to talk to me and Rose to ask if Chloe could join us in the sleepover, and I nodded and said "of course, the more the merrier", "Great! I'll go ask her now" said Scarlette with excitement then leaves to find Chloe. "I don't think it's a good idea to invite Chloe," said Rose "why not?" I asked "Don't you notice the way she looks at us?" said Rose, I've always noticed the way Chloe glares at us but I didn't really think of it that much, maybe there's something more to those stares... "Now that I think about it, it's not only Chloe that's been always glaring at us, it's also Shaun" I said "Maybeeee their jealous because Scarlette hangs out with us more" Rose said, She has a point tho "We're not sure yet and maybe inviting Chloe is a good idea to get to know each other" I said and Rose just nodded. "Baby Sis! It's time to go home now" said Rose's brother Andrew "Bye Sophia! See you later!" said rose while waving and I waved back too, I'm so excited about the sleepover!.

Scarlette: Chloe! there you are I've been looking for you

Chloe: Why?

Scarlette: Do you wanna join us? At Sophia's house, we're having a slumber party

Chloe: Sorry I can't, I'm not really feeling well

Scarlette: Ohh I understand, get well soon!

(6:30 pm "Sophia's House")

I was setting the plates on the table while my sister is cooking, a few minutes later the doorbell rang and I immediately opened it and saw Rose and Scarlette, I gave them a big welcome hug and asked them if they're hungry, they both nodded and my sister was almost finished cooking spaghetti with meatballs. My parents, sister and my little cousin Jake joined us for dinner, my sister's babysitting Jake for 3 days because his parents were on a business trip.

After eating I showed them to my room and told them to be comfortable and went downstairs to help my sister clean up.

Rose's POV

I was laying down on Sophia's bed then I noticed Scarlette's just sitting on the edge of the bed silently. "So I guess Chloe's not coming today?" I asked "yea she told me she's not feeling well but during class hours she seems to be active and on break time she's always laughing with Shaun and Augustine" she paused then continued "it's like she's avoiding me? I'm not really sure Rose lately she's been really distant with me" she said "Don't worry scar she'll come around, and it's girls night! let's not think anything negative and just have fun!" I said trying to cheer her up "you know what, you're right rose! let's make this night memorable" she said happily.
