Chapter 9: The Hospital

Sophia's POV

(The next day)

Rose and Scarlette already left my house an hour ago after we had breakfast, it's really fun to have a bonding time with my girls. I'm really glad I met Rose, Scarlette, Felix and Elliot, I can be myself when I'm around them and they made me more confident.

I heard my phone ring and it was Felix who's calling me, I wonder why.

Sophia: Hello?

Felix: Sophia! something happened to Elli.

Sophia: what? What happened to him?!

Felix: I don't know yet, he just texted me and said that he's in the hospital. We should visit him.

Sophia: ok, have you told Rose and Scarlette yet?

Felix: yea I texted them about it, also Aiden.

Sophia: ok ok I'll be on my way at the hospital.

Felix: Elli texted me the location of the hospital I'll just send it to you.

Sophia: ok see yah!

*Ends Call*

I showered quickly then put some clothes on "Sam can you drive me to the hospital?" I asked my sister since my parents were on a date and my sister has a license already "Ok, but what are you gonna do at a hospital?" My sister asked "My friend Elliot is there, I don't know the reason yet and I and my friends are going to visit him" I said "Ok then let's go" my sister said getting ready. I hop in the car and my sister puts Jake in the car seat.

Felix's POV

(At the hospital)

My Mother was driving me to the hospital and she said we should give Elli a gift basket so we stopped by in a store and bought a gift basket for Elli. I was about to get a chocolate in the basket but my mother caught me and slapped my hand "That hurts mom!" I said rubbing my hand "The chocolates aren't for you Felix it's for Elli" my mom said.

After a few minutes, I arrived at the hospital then went to the room that Elli texted me. When I reached the room I slowly opened the doorknob and saw Sophia and Scarlette in the room already.

"Hey, Guys," I said.

"Hi, Felix," Scarlette replied.

"How long have you guys been here?" I asked.

"We just arrived," Sophia answered.

"Oh ok. Hey Elli, what happened to you? You look fine to me." I said to try and lighten up the mood.

"I'll tell you guys what happened when everyone's here," Elli said.

Rose's POV

I just arrived at the hospital with my two brothers and I saw Aiden getting out of the car, I guess Felix invited him. I called his name then he went towards me "Rose, it's good you're here" he said "yea, we should go to the room now" I said.

I opened the door of the room Elli was in and everyone was here already.

Elli: Yay! we're complete now.

Rose: Uhh you look fine to me Elli.

Felix: Yea I even brought you this gift basket.

Elli: Thanks Felix for the gift basket and this is the reason why I'm here.

After Elli finished talking he moved his blanket on his legs to reveal a cast on his left ankle.

Scarlette: Ohh you sprained your ankle.

Sophia: How did this happen?

Elli: well I was just walking down the stairs holding my phone playing Fortnite then I wasn't looking at my steps then twist my ankle then fell down the stairs.

Rose: Well that's what you get for being too addict in Fortnite.

Elli: hey! Anyways thanks again for the basket Felix and thank you, Rose, for the 'get well soon' balloon.

Felix & Rose: You're welcome 😊.

Aiden's POV

We were just talking about some stuff, then my phone rang, I checked who it was, then saw it was Chloe, Ugh! why am I not surprised? She probably wants me to make Scarlette's friends miserable. And I can't do anything 'cause she is blackmailing us with something I did in the past, I blame myself for what happened. I decline the call but she called again so this time I answered it because she won't stop anyways.

Aiden: What is it, Chloe?

Chloe: You think you can avoid me huh.

Aiden: Just fucking tell me what you want.

Chloe: Better watch your mouth Aiden or else 😏.

Aiden: Ok ok!

Chloe: Meet me at the park at 10.

I ended the call and was about to say goodbye to them then Scarlette comes up to me "Aiden.. was that Chloe?" Scarlette asked me "uhh yea it was her, anyway I have to go Scar," I said nervously "are you gonna meet Chloe by any chance?" She asked me "umm yes," I said "can I go with you? I just have problems with Chloe lately and I want to talk to her about it" she said, I can't bring Scar with me what am I gonna say?

"Scar let's have a group picture!" Felix called out to her and I took this chance to escape immediately and went to the park.

Chloe: Good you're here.

Aiden: What is it you want?

Chloe: I want you to make a move already! Make Scarlette leave them!

Aiden: You know what Chloe, I'M SICK OF THIS!

Chloe: Excuse me?

Aiden: They're also my friends! I won't harm them just because you're fucking jealous that Scarlette hangs out with them more!

Chloe: How dare you! Are you forgetting what you did?! YOU OWE ME A LOT AIDEN!

Aiden: I'm the one that did a terrible thing to you so take your anger on me instead! NOT THEM!

Chloe: Fine! I'll tell them what you did so they can see what a horrible person you are.

Aiden: Go ahead! I don't care anymore, Chloe!

After I said that I immediately left her in the park, I can't take her anymore! Scarlette's friends don't deserve to be miserable because they did nothing wrong. Looks like I'm done for... Chloe's probably gonna message everyone in the school and their gonna know what I did.

Chloe's POV

(At the hospital)

After Shaun and I met up with Aiden, we went to the hospital where my Sister was confined. She was there...lying on the bed...unconscious. She's been like this ever since the accident happened a year ago. She was always so bright...until she had an accident. I saw my Mom sleeping next to her. I told Shaun to go home, but he told me that I should take my mom home and that he'll look after Christie tonight. We went home, I go to my room. Earlier, when Aiden didn't do what I said...I thought to myself..."Am I too cruel?" "Should I stop?" When I went to the hospital and saw Christie...the feeling I had came back. I will make Aiden pay for what he did.
