Matthew McKnight POV

I heard voices around me I couldn't move my body my stomach hurts so much I must me in the hospital because that dick of a Barnard shot me in my stomach I hope Evelynn is save she wasn't there when we got there I hope they found her I heard a familiar voice Evelynn "I'm so sorry" she mumbled at me I felt drops of water falling on my skin is she crying I hope she doesn't think it is her fault it was my own I heard her cry harder then she let go off my hand why can't I wake up or move I'm not dead am I "go to sleep" I heard James tell someone

"the doctor said he would wake up in a few hours" I heard Eric say they were making a lot of noises from sitting on the couch and moving chairs "guys keep it down Evelynn finally stopped crying and our friend is there in that bed resting so stop making so many noises" James spat at them angry in a loud whisper "I can't believe that she really cried from the moment we saw her again" Eric said soft she was crying all the time what did he do to her "yeah what I heard from my mom is that she woke up in a dark room and then escaped when she had the change running out of a emergency exit that when she run around the corner she heard gun shots" James said soft in a heavy sigh

"she even cried harder when we broke the news at her that Matt was shot" Eric said I heard him stand up I still can't move my body my eyelids are to heavy to open I'm awake but I can't do anything I heard them talk what felt like forever everything they were talking about but I felt someone hold my hand there were foot steps walking out of the room "I don't know if you could hear me or not but I will just say it please don't leave us I don't know what these feelings are I have for you but when I heard Tom say you were shot it felt like the world just ended I was already crying from how scared I was but I felt my heart drop when I thought I lost you" she said letting my hand go

"Eve food" Eric said to her after a long time my stomach started to hurt so badly I couldn't bare the pain anymore but I still was not able to move or say anything I heard something fall to the ground "fuck" Kevin yelled at I guess the thing dropped "jeez man Eve is sleeping" James said angry in a loud whisper "oh my baby" my mom yelled at me I felt her hand holding mine "he will be fine sweetie" my dad said comforting my mom she let out a heavy sigh

I finally was able to open my eyes I could move my body but my stomach was still hurting badly "look who is finally awake" Tom said playful smiling at me my mom grabbed my hand and kissed it I was trying to sit straight I groan on pain to see a sleeping Evelynn she looked exhausted with bags under her eyes her make up was all over her face from the crying then her words shot back to me I thought I lost you that were the only words I thought were most important to me "our warrior is sleeping" Kevin said smirking at me James walked up to me

"good to see you awake now is Eve less worried about you" he said whispering in my ear I wouldn't want to lose her either "son will you be more careful next time" my dad said hugging me "auh" I yelped in pain my dad handed me some pills for the pain and a glass of water after a hour my parents left "dude you were lucky" Tom said worried looking sad "we all thought we lost you to that dick" Eric said looking at the floor James was checking on his sister "Matty" I heard a familiar voice say

I looked at the door to see Chloe standing in the doorway she run up to me but got stopped by Eric "you do have a brain do you" Tom asked furious at her she nodded "then why were you running up to him he has stitches in his stomach so no hugging for you" Eric said pulling her back away from the bed I looked at James holding Evelynn tight in his arms like he was going to lose her soon "I know he is hurt you dick heads" she said bitchy at them Evelynn please wake up soon I only could think about her
