Evelynn Brooks POV

He held then open slipping in he dragged me out "where do you think your going" he snapped at me his eyes were filled with anger I felt hot burning tears roll down my face "home" I said hiccupping I never want to see him or hear his name he is a monster I freed my hand from his grab I turned around to walk to the lift he grabbed me pulling me close to him I put my hands on his chest trying to push him away but it didn't work I hate him "you have work to do" he snapped at me I shook my head "I quit" I said pushing him away but he grabbed my even tighter

We heard a ding I turned around to see it was a old man in his late sixties he had the same ocean blue eyes he had grey hair with dark brown locks he looked shocked at me then angry at my boss I quickly whipped my tears away I felt Mr. McKnight still holding me tight behind the man was a woman wait that is Alison I looked at my boss he looked at them with anger "what is going on son" Alison asked him mad I looked at the floor I tried to free myself "mind your own business mom" he snapped at her angry "that is not how you talk to your mother and what ever you did to this woman is wrong she is not a dog that is not how we raised you" he yelled at him

"honey take Evelynn" he said calm to her I saw he was far from calm he looked like his blood was boiling my boss was holding me even more tight then I was trying to escape let me go I don't want to see your face ever again "let her go son" he said oh he is his father I saw Alison walk up to me she glared angry at her "I thought you changed Matt but I was wrong you are not my son" she said grabbing me by my wrist I was dragged to the washroom "what did he do" she asked me calm I was breathing hard from the tension between all of them I was always bad at witnessing a argument between people it made me weak and scared that is why my parents always tried not to argue in front of me

I looked at her I felt hot burning tears roll down my cheeks "he was yelling at me because he invited flings to his office and he was bothered by that I kept using the intercom to ask if I could let them in after a few of them I was done with him yelling at me so I got angry at his behavior towards me" I said hiccupping with sobs I was breathing uncontrollably she hugged me for comfort "we will make sure he doesn't touch you in your private parts I saw what he did earlier this day so I talked to him but he was not listening so I got his dad to learn him a lesson" she said whipping my tears away

We made our way to were we left them "you are not my son my son doesn't take advantage of a woman nor use her as a toy from now of on you go and be nice to her or I take the company back" he yelled at him I saw how angry they were at each other they looked like they would kill each other "woaw mom what is going on" a voice said I couldn't recognize I looked at the lady she had dark brown hair smiled at me I was confused I don't know her but it looks like she does know me "your brother here is mistreating her like his old behaviors" Alison said frustrated glaring at her son

"you are a asshole" the lady with the dark brown hair said to her brother walking up to him she hit him on his shoulder really hard "jeez Kim mind your own business all of you" he snapped at them he looked at me like if looks could kill I would be dead by now "that is it" his father yelled at him furious I backed away getting as fast as I could to my cabin I locked the door I want to go home and leave this place forever I hate him I lean against the door dropping myself to the ground crying so bad I was breathing uncontrollably how could my life be like this what have I done to deserve this I heard a knock

I kept quiet I don't want anyone around me "Evelynn please dear open the door let me explain his cold behavior" Alison said soft I stood up opening the door she stood there looking worried about me she came in she led me to the sofa "our Matt was in love with a woman Grace Valentina she was his world and his light he asked her to marry her and he needed to go on a business trip two weeks after the engagement he could leave the trip a day earlier and found her in his bed with Gabriel Monterey she cheated on him he blew of the engagement and threw her out of his home" she said sad I was shocked that it happened to him

"he became angry at nothing he was depressed under weight it took him two years to recover from his broken heart it happened three years ago he behaved with all his PA's like this but we never liked one of them except from you" she said wrapping her arms around me hugging me "and I know it is not a excuse to behave like that to you" she said soft I was shocked he was so heartbroken I feel sorry for him but I still hate this very man I want to quit the job she let me go she grabs me hand I follow her to the rest they are still arguing "I treat woman how I want to so keep your nose out of my life" he yelled at his father who became furious

He turned to me looking angry I turn around and walk to my cabin grab my bag and walk back "I'm leaving and don't think I come back to work goodbye" I said angry walking to the lift I felt a pair of eyes looking at me I got in the lift pressed the ground button I saw the lift doors open at the 56th floor and a handsome young man walked in looking worried at me "why is a beautiful lady like you crying" he asked me worried coming closer to me I pressed myself against the lift wall I don't thrust any guy he looked surprised at me he got even more closer "stop" I yelled in fear at him

A big smirk appeared on his face he knows I'm weak "don't come closer" I yelled at him with a trembling voice he grabbed me by the waist I push him away luckily the doors opened on the parking ground I rushed out walking to my car I got in and drove off to my apartment I threw myself on my bed and cried everything out

Matthew McKnight POV

She got in the lift my dad turned to me with a angry expression "now tell me what you did to her" he yelled at me I didn't answer why did I treat her like that was it because I was getting frustrated that she gave those annoying glares at me in the plane or did those feeling only grow even stronger that is just lost self-control "asked you something what did you do to her" he spelled every word in the sentence really slow "I kind of mis treated her" I yelled at my dad in frustration fuck she just quit her job I will not see her anymore unless I go to her apartment but I'm not desperate to get her to work with me I can live without her she is nothing to me "what do you mean with mistreating" my sister snapped at me "I touched her on some parts" I said soft looking at my sisters shocked face "she is damn right with quitting the job" she said angry glaring at me

"I hope she will never for give you because this time you went too far brother" she said walking to the lift I looked at her I hope she will for give me one day "I don't want to see you in my house ever until you apologize to her" my mom said walking up to Kim I want to go to my office and look for a new PA I will never say sorry to her she is nothing to me "I need to go I have things to do" I said dryly to my dad "stop there son if you don't apologize to her you won't set a foot in my house do you get it" he snapped at me angry I hate it when my parents do this it is my life and I do what I want and how I treat woman

I make my way to my office leaving my dad angry in the hall way I get behind my laptop I let my secretary know that she needs to find new people for the job I don't apologize to her nor do I want to come to my parents their house nor do I want to see them I could use a drink I ask if Eric wants to have a drink in a club I turn off my laptop and make my way to my car I drive off to the club where we are going to meet each other
