Chapter 22 Scared

I dig my nails into my palms as he begins to apply the medicine to the burn.

''ahahh chill, it hurts.''I squeak leaning back preventing him from applying more.

''Come on I just have to bandage it now it won't hurt.''He leans forward and wraps the bandage delicately around more forearm as if he is afraid of hurting me.''Done.''He smiles proudly at his handy work and sits beside me wrapping me in his embrace.

''Do you wanna tell me what happened?''He looks down at me and smiles sadly at me.

''I stood up to him and he didn't like it.''I sigh covering my face with my hands.''He blamed me for everything that happened and..I snapped.''I sigh again.

''Wow that's amazing. You did the right thing he needed someone to wake him up. What do you want to do? Do you want to sleep?''I nod my head and start walking off mindlessly.

I jump into bed as soon as I reach it, my body feels sore and it hurts to even breathe. I sigh and ruffle my hair and stare at the ceiling, the rain begins to fall more furiously the wind howling making the windows shiver and clatter. Out of nowhere, there was a loud thunder roaring across the city I close my eyes enjoying the company of the rain, the sky shedding tears leashing its anger.

My door swings open and there stands taehyung messy hair his hand resting on the nape of his neck.

''Are you ok?''I ask sitting up.

''Yeah I just came to check if your ok because it's thunder outside-'' he gets cut off by another loud thunder. He flinches and run onto the bed and hides under the covers, I feel his body shaking underneath.

''Are you perhaps scared of thunder,'' I ask slowly moving the cover from his face.

''n-no.''He stutters he begins to slowly sit up. A striking sound roars louder than all the others making Taehyung jump and hide his face.''Maybe a little" he says sheepishly looking up at me.

''Awww I'll protect you come here.''I open my arms signalling him to come over despite the pain I keep a smile plastered on my lips. We sit together legs tangled his arms wrapped around me, my head resting on his as we enjoy each others company.''Big baby is scared.''I coo at him chuckling to myself.

''Shut up.''He pouts his lips and looks away a small smile tugging at his lips.

''Really I never would have thought the schools baddest boy is scared of thunder, shocker,'' I say laughing.

''Shut up or I'll leave.''He threatens to pretend to be mad.

I raise my eyebrows at him ''Go ahead big boy.''I say sarcastically.

''Fine I will.''He throws the covers and lands one foot on the floor before another banging sound is heard. He jumps right back in hugging my waist hiding his face in the crook of my neck.

''Sleep big boy I'm here.''I chuckle at him.

And so he does he falls asleep in my tight embrace. Not once did we let go of each other holding each other like dear life.

Gee, I seriously don't know where I'm going with this book I've been really put off. Hopefully, the next chapter will actually be fun and not just boring like these past few ones.I'm really really really really sorry I'll try update soon but I can't promise school is starting soon so I'll probably start updating more frequently again I'm sorry please forgive me.
