Chapter 49 Surprises

Everyone sat down on the couch joking around enjoying the presence of each other, Taehyungs arm loosely placed over Jae Eun who was hugging his waist sweetly.

Life couldn't get any better for them.

The white wooden door creaked open slowly shutting everyone up, the eldest member stepped in hugging his big winter coat around his body a frown plastered on his face.

"Shut the door it's cold" Mina whined hugging Jungkook instantly making heat rise up his face.

"Yuna, in" Jin clicked his fingers loudly.

A petite shivering figure stepped out surprising everyone, her face was bear her hair was put up in a bun and it seemed as though she was dragged out in her pyjamas.

"H-hi" she stuttered waving awkwardly.

"What is this, Seokjin" the leader stepped forward as both couples detached themselves from each other.

"Yuna is her to say something"Jin shot a look at her making her look down scared fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.

"Well..I-I...b-basically I just wanna say..well" she stuttered looking up nervously her lips quivering "I'm sorry" she hung her head low unable to meet their eyes.

"I have no words to justify my actions...this just got really silly and stupid and...I-I" she looked at jin slowly as he crossed his arms raising his brows " Jae Eun, I know what I did to you was horrible and well..I'm sorry for what I did.. it...I apologise." she sighed.

"You're sorry?"Jae Eun said raising her brow.

"That what I said!" she snapped but quickly recovered her posture after receiving a glare." yes." she numbly added.

"Oh" everyone sighed.

"Well, I guess we could accept your apology, right guys?" Jae Eun said looking around at the nodding heads.

"What do you mean you guess," Yuna said silently"Oh thank you guys so much I feel so relieved now" she cried finally smiling.

"Great" Jin said clapping his hands fakely smiling at Yuna who stomped away with a hmph.

"Guys I'm sorry I should get going, "Jae Eun said looking down at her new phone.

"Do you want me to go with?"taehyung said sitting down.

"No I'll be fine you stay here," she shouted slipping on her shoes and opening the door the wind whipping her face.

Everyone nodded at each other quickly jumping up after her.

JAE EUNS POV ~

My eyes admired the twinkling stars that shine down happily, I stuff my hands in my pockets taking a deep breath smiling in content.

Things have been going great with my dad, with taehyung, and even mark who has gone into rehab, my dad clearly trying to fix the broken trust between us. Thankfully my nightmares have almost fully disappeared.

I thought back to Yunas apology which showed me two things a)she must like Jin a lot to put down her dignity and say sorry b)or she is absolutely shit scared of him and came to apologise because she doesn't want to die. Most likely the second one because of her body language.

"Jae Eun" someone calls after me. I snap out of my train of thoughts looking behind seeing Mina chasing after me.

"Oh, mina what are you doing?" I ask shuffling my feet.

"I wanted ice cream so I thought why not go with you." She huffed placing her hands on her hips breathing out.

"Yah yah you better not be pregnant!" I exclaim slapping her shoulder.

"What!" she choked her face turning crimson. "We haven't got that far" she slapped my shoulder repeatedly whilst I laugh.

"Sure let's go" I grabbed her hand and dragged her with me opening the shop in front of us the warmth invading my whole body.

We sit down and order talking about anything.

1 hour later~

"Mina comes onn, it's been hours hurry up"I whine stomping my feet as Mina continued golfing down her ice cream like a monster.

"Calm down the night is still young" she mumbled shoving another spoon in her mouth. Her phone pings loudly catching her attention as I whine even more.

She smiles and stands up "shut up come on"

I shut up instantly and jump out of my chair happily. Skipping down the street I hold onto Mina as I walk up the bricks stretching my hands out for balance.

"Mina, "I say turning to look at her.

"Hmm," she says looking straight ahead.

"Graduation is right around the corner" I sigh "which college are you applying for?" I ask jumping down.

"Well I'm gonna apply for the ones close to home because Jungkook is staying here and we don't wanna separate." she smiles her eyes glistening. "What about you?" she turns to look at me tilting her head.

I look at her blankly make her uncomfortable "same!"I shriek jumping onto her.

I turn the key, opening the door slowly.

Everything lay still and silent everything was dark and empty. Suddenly a small light cast itself in the centre of the room revealing...
