"Sometimes, we must find ourselves by first letting go."
- Zabuza"Sometimes the worst action to take, is no action at all."
- Li Ren (Ren's father.)With the primordials
There was chaos in the war room.
Screaming, shouting and honestly not any real planning taking place. The primordials were trying to take control of the situation, though it didn't really seem to do anything. Nobody could get their livid mind together or finish a word before another voice would cut it out. So it was just a screaming mess of voices and no plan in place as nobody could work with another party conflicting with their ideas.
So when the doors were opened by two men plated in heavy armour, nobody noticed. The Dragonborn fell silent though, recognising the great power that pulsed off them. Some of them formed a fist around the amulets that hung around their necks.
One of the men uttered a word, barely audible above the screaming and shouting but the power was enough to silent everything that was going on. Everyone looked over to them, clearly shocked that they had arrived to the room. One of the men had silver hair and fair skin, he had a scar running across the side of his left check that looked like it was from a animal paw. He combed his hand through his hair, a slight smile on his face. He had his black dragon helmet dangling off his belt, while he held his sword loosely in his right hand.
"Whelp. Looks like we came at a bad time dad." The silver haired man looked over to the knight, seven golden birds flying around him.
"No. We came at the exactly right time." The knight replied, hand on his crude blade's hilt. He walked over to the war table, everyone moving away from him to make a clear walk down to the table. The Dragonborn bowed, all of them avoiding direct eye contact with the hulking behemoths. The silver haired male just smiled, helping one of the Dragonborn to their feet.
"No need to bow. I am no different then you." He whispered into her ear, taking her completely off guard. One of the birds landed on her shoulder, though it felt like a whole 10 tons of rock had been dropped on her shoulder. She stumbled from the sudden weight though he simply chuckled, whistling while holding his finger out; the bird immediately responded, flying over and landing on his finger. The knight just walked over to the table, the Primordials backing off in shock and fear, he placed a single map on the table; one of Ru'uan. He turned for a second; before stabbing a dagger into the table, scaring Nature out of her wits, the point impaled where Sparta would have been.
"You do not have the man power to take on the Darkness. Seek allies in Sparta, maybe they'll help you."
"Excuse me? I have 10 million soldiers under my command!" War shouted, hand tightly gripped around Dragon slayer.
"The darkness have much, much more. Their armies are near infinite. You don't even operate to your fullest." The silver haired male said, slamming his hands into the table the birds still following him.
"Why you-" War drew a throwing dagger and threw it at the silver haired male. The birds suddenly gave an aggressive hiss, transforming into 7 golden wyverns all bearing their pearl-like teeth. But before it could hit him; the knight reached out, the blade hitting his armour and clattering off and landing on the table. The knight snarled, grabbing War by the collar of his armour and pulling him over the table to face him.
"You even try hurting my family, I will show you the definition of pain. Why even Nihil runs from my gaze, is that understood war?" The knight spoke in a seething voice, filled up with pent up anger and intent.
"What can you do Steelbane? Stare me into submission?" War laughed. Steelbane growled, his form transforming into that of his much more massive wyvern form and biting down on War's waist. He flung him behind him, sending the Primordial flying through the door and into a troop of his guard knocking them all over.
"If you are wise enough to not follow your brother's example, you know what you must do." Steelbane said, turning to the other Primordials who nodded. He started to walk away, before Uriel stopped him.
"Please! You two! Can you help my children? They're stuck on the island of the dead!" She cried, dropping to her knees in tears. Steelbane was ever so slightly taken back, but his son was much more kinder in his actions. The silver haired male hugged her, leading her away from the war room with caring words and warm hugs.
"They'll be okay Uriel. One of my strongest Paladins is also on the island, he'll protect them."
"Thank you Bahamunt, you're too kind."
"Isn't that me? The kindest of the dragons?"
