Island of the dead

Gold winced as Jade dressed his wound, he lifted his arm up looking down to the side as he felt the tightening fabric around his chest. He took slow and steady breaths, his mouth was incredibly dry while his eyes were watering badly. He looked down to the side, seeing the rest of the fallen angels. Tyrant was asleep, still recovering from his brief glance at Galbraith's Ultima's eyes. Jay was rubbing the healed wound on his neck, a look of incredible discomfort on his face. Deimos had also stumbled in with them, right before the snow got too thick for others to dig through. Maria was sitting down vigilant, waiting for Galbraith to show his muzzle and for her to smash him full force with the power of an angry Titan dragon. Karlee had pulled her cloak over her shoulders, clearly still slightly cold. Freghyn was attempting to strike a match, trying to make a campfire.
"Ow!" He yelped out in pain, feeling the tightening fabric. "It hurts! Way too tight!" He yelped out.
"I'm sorry. But this is for your own good. You know that." Jade said, kissing his cheek as she continued to wrap it around his chest. He felt his muscles slightly loosen to the familiar warm touch of his fiancé's lips, him taking in the scent slight. He reluctantly moved up his arm, his face wincing and the sudden stinging pain up his arm. She smiled slightly, wrapping the bandages before cutting it and tucking it into the wraps. He let out a sigh as he finally lowered his arm, moving his shoulder slightly and clicking his joints slightly. He lent his back against the cold stone cavern wall, not bothering to put on a shirt. He let out a sigh, feeling the goose bumps appear on his back; he started shivering slightly, forcing him to curl up like a child.
"Put both of your arms up, I'll help you." Jade said, holding up his blood stained shirt.
He groaned in obvious reluctance but did so anyway, straightening his arms. She tugged down his shirt, barely getting it over his head. He smiled slightly, kissing her nose.
"Thank you Angellica." Gold whispered into her ear, his arm tightening around her waist.
She giggled slightly, nuzzling into the crook of his neck and kissing his jaw slightly. "You're an idiot. You know that right?"
He chuckled, hugging her slightly. "I'm sure you're correct. But I don't know where though." He quipped back.
"Yeah. But you're my idiot." She replied, pinching his nose slightly.

And with that, they both slowly drifted asleep.

Remnant 41. Headmaster's office.

Did Nihil expect to lose?

No he didn't. Not until the Titan dragon of death arrived and stomped onto the party.....and then proceeded to pee all over him.

So when he almost fell down the tower of Haven academy, he most took it as a welcoming gift.
That was until Blackdread grabbed him by the collar, a single clawed finger through the leather of his trench coat. Barely keeping him from falling into the mass of living and dead below. He gulped, looking at the black knight with a glint of fear in his eyes. He hadn't calculated this, for a god to show up was already bad, so a god killer as you could expect was even worse of a miscalculation. He cursed himself under his breath for not predicting it sooner, to have at least taken the possibility of it into consideration. But his anger clouded his mind like a thick fog, refused for him to admit defeat, not after the death of son, the capture of his daughter; he refused to even think about giving up, not without a fight.
"Do you finally admit defeat Nihil? You know you are beaten." Blackdread taunted, his sword held lazily in his right hand.
Nihil spat in his face, a cruel smile on his own face. He tried swiping for Blackdread's face, one that the God of death easily dodged. Blackdread's face crunched up in disgust, his eyes narrowing in anger; he himself spitting down onto the ground.
"I can't die. And that will be a blessing for me. I can't die." He muttered underneath his breath, repeating it over and over again, clearly confident in his supposed immortality from the shadow man. Blackdread chuckled, his clawed finger straightening slowly as Nihil started to fall backwards with it. He grinned cruelly, like a sadist would when causing pain to others.
"I am the God of truth. And I'll make you see truth, through your death."
Blackdread immediately let go, his eyes suddenly blazing red like you had never seen red. As Nihil fell back, he felt Blackdread kick him back; a hard thud against his chest as it forced the air out of his lungs. He let out a shout, right before he pummelled down to the ground below. Blackdread just grinned, seeing Nihil plummet down to the ground below. He looked up to see one of the undead dragons that Nihil had brought with him, one of them clashing with the red dragon he had brought back and the other with the order of silver wyverns that were ripping and tearing at the rotten flesh. He just smirked, looking down at the patch of earth below him; soaked in the blood of both dead soldiers. He licked his lips, clicking his fingers; there seemed to be a large *oumph* in the air right after he clicked his fingers. He turned to the now hunched over Lionheart, pointing to the stairs and ordering him to take care of the relic of choice. Lionheart only nodded, following out his patron's order with not a single hesitation nor fear; if only he had such an attitude in life, then maybe he wouldn't be a bloodthirsty monster right now. He shambled away, like when you peed his pants sort of thing. Blackdread pulled on his helmet and jumped down to the earth after the shadow demon.
