~Flashback start~
Luca sat in his mother's lap while she sang him a lullaby, stroking his head gently while holding him close to her. He looked up at His mother as she sang the lullaby with pure and genuine emotion, tears formed in her eyes knowing that she'd be taken away from her dear child. "Mommy, why are you crying....is something wrong?", he questioned his mother with a curious yet worried expression on his face. "N-No sunshine...the song just makes Mommy a little emotional, e-everything is okay my dear Luca...", she said in a soft and sweet tone, sounding as happy as she possibly could. Luca snuggled into his mother's embrace and smiled up at her, his tail wagged gently,"I love you, Mommy!".
His mother kissed his forehead and wrapped a blanket around him as he drifted off to sleep, "I-I love you too my sunshine....I'm so sorry that things are the way they are..."
~Flashback end~
Luca wakes up, tears in his eyes, "M-Mother...I'm so sorry I didn't notice your sadness.....I promise to save our kind and make you proud..." He vows, this being a promise that he'd keep until his kind is saved....
