"But what ever happened with the governor? Did you and daddy beat him? Was Michonne allowed in the group? You have to tell me the rest!" She said.

"Harley! Enough questions, baby. I'll finish the story when your older. But for now, she did join our group and we did beat him." I answered my daughter. Every night for the past year I've explained how Daryl and I survived the 'end of the world'. Only, it wasn't the end. We beat our enemies, found new people, a new home, and survived until a cure was found.

A cure and vaccine was created in 2019, 10 years ago. There was an international broadcasting from the French, explaining to the remaining population how we would all need create our own versions of the medicine.

After years of finding every survivor and killing every walker, it was finally all over. Peace was restored, and the world was a completely different place. Hospitals, banks, schools, jobs, governments, and society, was all brought back from the dead.

A new generation of people and of society was created from the shambles it was left in. We built a new world for the future to grow. We created what the world is today, and we did it together.

Rick and his children moved to a new home one a new state, where Carl and Judith grew into the amazing individuals they are today. They learned to overcome the childhoods they were given, and created their own lives.

Rider used his experiences with death and injury to lead a new breed of military, and start an honest and hardworking family.

Grayson and Ethan kept fighting for each other, and currently live with me and my family. They've grown throughout the years, yet still lean on each other for support.

Glenn and Maggie had a few children, and raised them through the apocalypse and into the new world

After the medicine was discovered, Sam and Dean joined the relief team to find new survivors, where the continue to help the less fortunate.

Merle died protecting Daryl and I from the governor, which hit us hard, but we used that hurt to fuel our passion for saving the world.

Beth, Andrea, Hershel, Tyreese, and Riley, all lost their lives throughout our year long struggles. All that was lost was never forgotten because of a country wide decision to honor every life in a national museum in Washington D.C. Survivors from across America were given the opportunity to establish a memorial for their loved ones, where they will be remembered forever.

Our group has traveled to hell and back for the past decade, where we learned how to stay a team, through thick and thin. The bond that was created throughout us would never be broken, as we contained to fight and to survive, together.

As I tuck in my daughter tonight, I always remember how difficult it was for Daryl and I find each other, and to cherish each other forever.

After years and years of the hell we've been through, finding our way back together again forever, was the easiest part.

YOOOO OK so I hated leaving this unfinished, so the ending so extremely abrupt, but thought you all deserved closure. I'm sorry for being a shitty writer lmao!!! I just don't have interest in this topic anymore :( hope you all enjoyed! luh y'all.
