Ch. 19

(time skip.Skye is now 9 months pregnant...)

"AHHHHHH!" I screamed waking up from my sleep.

Ward sat up next to me with a panicked look on his face. "Skye, what's wrong?"

I looked over at him. "The babies are coming."

"Ok." Ward said getting up. He slipped on a t-shirt and jeans then grabbed the bag we had packed for the hospital. He walked over to our bed and helped me stand up. I was in so much pain.

Ward helped me into one of the big vans that didn't have a SHIELD logo in it. He the hopped into the driver seat and we took off to the nearest hospital. "Your going to be ok." Ward said as he was driving as fast as he could to the hospital. He reached over and grabbed my hand. "Just breathe."

I tried to breath like Ward said; but it was super hard. "AHHHHHH!" I screamed again.

"Don't worry." Ward said. "We are almost there."

After a few more minutes we finally reached the hospital. Ward parked the car and helped me into the hospital. We went up to the front desk. "Help." Ward told the lady at the front desk. "She is going into labor."

The lady yelled something and a few different nurses and doctors came out. They put me in a wheelchair then rolled me into a room. The doctor gave me some pills to take. After a little bit of preparation the nurse came up to me. "Ok Skye. On the next contraction you need to push."

"Ok." I said. I looked over at Ward. It's official...We were having our kids.

After what felt like forever I was laying in the hospital bed with a baby girl in my arms. I looked up at Ward, who was holding a baby boy.

"Skye?" Ward asked

"What?" I asked looking up at him.

"What should we name them?" He asked.

I looked back and forth between our babies. "I really like the name Athena." I said.

"I like it too." Ward said smiling down at our baby girl.

"What about a boy name?" I questioned, looking at the baby boy he was holding.

"I think we should name him Ashton." Ward said.

"I like it." I said.

Then Coulson, May, Jemma, and Fitz came bursting through the door.

"Skye!" Coulson exclaimed.

"Babies!" Jemma squealed.

I laughed at Jemma. "Here." I said handing Jemma, Athena.

"Have you and Ward decided on names?" Fitz asked. I looked over to see Ward had given Fitz the baby.

"Yes. This is Athena Grace Ward." I said looking at Athena.

"And this is Ashton Levi Ward." Ward said looking at Ashton.

"I love it." Coulson says. "Now let Uncle Coulson hold one." He said taking Athena out of Jemma's arms. Jemma fake pouted and I laughed.

I looked over and saw May taking Ashton out of Fitz's arms. I smiled at May and she smiled back. Then she looked back down at Ashton.

I looked up at Ward and smiled. He leaned down and kissed me. "I love you." I said.

"I love you too." Ward said.

I looked up again. I kinda felt bad for the babies it hadn't even been five minutes and they had been passed so many different times. Jemma was holding Ashton and Fitz was standing next to her. May was holding Athena and Coulson was playing with Athena's little hand.

"Where's Trip?" I asked.

"We called him but he's in the middle of a mission." Coulson said. "He wished he could be here. He said he would visit as soon as he could."

"Oh." I said. "Hey?" I asked. "Could I possibly hold one of my babies?" We all laughed then May handed me Ashton. Jemma handed Athena to Ward.

"Smile!" Jemma said as she held up her camera. She took a picture of Ward and I holding our new born babies. We sat there for a little while talking and laughing. I yawned and handed Fitz, Ashton. It only took a minute before I was fast asleep.

So I'm not sure of everything that happens when you go into labor so sorry if it's wrong. I just kinda guessed.

Anyways hope you liked it. I know it's short but Skye finally had her babies!
