"Aunt May!" Ashton and Athena yelled in unison.

We had just walked into the base and May was standing there waiting to see them.

She had the biggest smile on her face as she hugged Ashton and Athena.

"Aunt May. I've been working on the fighting moves you taught me." Athena said excitedly.

I walked over and put my hand on May's shoulder. "I've been meaning to talk to you about those moves you've been teaching her." I told May. "Because she has been practicing them on her brother."

May chuckled and I smiled at her. "Hey guys. I have some news." I said to Ashton and Athena as I squatted down so I was at their eye level. "Daddy's here. Do you guys want to go see him?"

"YES!" They both screamed. "Where is he Mommy?" Ashton asked.

"He's in the lab." I told them. Then they both ran away. I stood back up and turned to May. "I'm serious about teaching her how to fight." I told her. "Didn't we agree to wait until she was eight?" I asked.

"Yeah but I changed my mind." She smirked.

"Well if you are going to teach Athena how to fight you might as well teach Ashton too. That way when they get older Athena won't beat him up too bad." I laughed.

"Deal." May said then walked away.

I walked down the hallway and into the lab to find Ward sitting up in his bed with Athena sitting on his lap and Ashton sitting next to him. I smiled as I walked up to them.

"Hey." I said, getting Ward's attention.

"Hi." He smiled.

I walked over to the side of his bed and kissed him. "How are you feeling?" I asked.

"Great, now that I have my whole family here." He smiled.

~10 minutes later~

"I'll be right back." I said to Ward before walking away to go find May.

I wandered around the base looking for her before I found her in the most obvious place: The gym.

"Hey May." I said making her turn her attention away from the punching bag and onto me.

"Hi." She said.

"Could you do me a favor?" I asked.

"Depends."

"I want to talk to Ward alone and I can't do that with Athena and Ashton next to us. Do you think you could take them down here to train for a little bit?" I questioned.

"Yeah." She said, grabbing the towel from around her neck and wiping the sweat off her forehead. "Just give me about ten minutes then I'll come get them." 

"Thanks May." I said before walking off. 

I walked back towards the lab and I could already hear Athena's giggles. 

I leaned against the door way, watching Ward play with Athena and Ashton. Ashton was trying to tackle Ward while he was tickling Athena. 

Ashton jumped onto Ward's back and I saw Ward wince in pain. 

"Ok guys I think daddy's had enough for today." I told them. 

I sat down in a chair next to Ward's bed and Athena crawled over to me and I picked her up and put her on my lap.

"Who wants to train!" May yelled as she came into the room.

"Me! Me!" Ashton and Athena screamed. I chuckled as I watched them run over to May.

"Let's go." She said grabbing their hands and leading them out of the lab. May nodded her head at me and I did the same.

"So now that we're alone..." Ward said wiggling his eyebrows.

I laughed at him and he smiled. "I actually did ask May to take them because I wanted to talk to you."

"About?" He asked.

"The wedding." I stated.

He smiled at just the thought of it. "What about it."

"Well pretty much everything is planned and since it's in three months I wanted to send out invitations. But I wanted to check with you first to make sure you're okay with the date. Because if you don't think you'll be up for it, we can change the date."

He chuckled at me. "Skye. I'll be fine. Do not change the date."

I smiled at him. "I can't wait to marry you."

"Me neither."
