Lieutenant status: Close

The two of you had a day off and were enjoying it indoors with the heaters on to keep the two of you warm from the harsh winter. You sipped on your hot chocolate as you watched your favorite show. Connor had joined you and did seem interested in the show as well. You look over at him and noticed how adorable it was to see him so interested. Though it sparked an idea... You put down your cup on the coffee table which caught Connors attention. "Is something wrong Lieutenant?" he asked innocently. You smiled and shook your head.

"No, Connor. And you can just call me (Y/n) by the way." You said leaning back into the couch again. "Anyway... I have an idea." You said with a smirk as you began to get up and head towards your room. Connor got up and followed you.

"What is it?" he asked. You looked through your clothes to find something warm to wear.

"Kamski was pretty much one of the creators of Cyberlife right?" You asked glancing at connor who only nodded as a response. "Well since he created so many different models of androids... He's got to know a thing or two about androids." You said now in the bathroom changing. Once you got out Connor spoke again.

"That is true. He's the one who created the programs for each android and made an android who successfully passed the Turing test." You paused what you were doing, snapped and pointed at him with a smile.

"Correct. Now if he made the programs for these androids. Then there must be some sort of secret or something that HE knows about deviants." You said sitting on your bed and putting your boots on.

"So... What is your theory?" Connor asked. You thought about it for a moment while tying your laces.

"I'm not sure... Though if I were to come up with a small one, it would be that there could be a chance he knows about deviancy and created a program that needs to be triggered within an android in order for them to be deviant." You said. "But again... I'm not sure." You added before grabbing your keys. "But there is only one way to find out. Let's get going..."

~~~
You stopped your car in front of Kamski's house. "Wow this house is very... Modern... And looks like shit from the outside if I'm to be honest." You said more so to yourself than Connor. Connor had no comment on it and exited the car. You smirked and got out as well. "How does it feel to know you'll meet the creator of all android life?" You asked as you looked at him. He gazed up at the house looking unsure.
"It's a bit... Odd. Though I think it would effect me more had he been the one to create me." He replied truthfully as the two of you reached the front door.
"That's reasonable." You replied before ringing the bell. The door opened right after and there stood a beautiful android with blonde hair and blue eyes. "Hello. I'm Lieutenant (l/n). We are here to see Elija Kamski." You said calmly. The android nodded before letting the two of you in.
"Elija will be with you shortly." She said before leaving into a different room. You sat down on the chair and let out a sigh while Connor scanned the room the two of you were in.
"Are you nervous Connor?" You asked trying to start up a conversation with him. There was a bit of silence before he actually responds.
"No. No not really." he replied and turned to look at you. He noticed your expression dropped.
"Wish I could see my creators again..."   You muttered thinking Connor hadn't heard you but he certainly did.
Connor shook his head slightly when the objective popped up. He refused to push on that matter now of all times. He wanted to respect you after all. The door to the room that the android had entered opened revealing her again.
"Elija will now speak with you." The Android said leading you and Connor into the room. You glanced to your left and saw Kamski swimming in his pool with blood red tiles.
"I'll be just a moment." Kamski said noticing you and Connor. The two of you went over by the seats and connor looked around while you looked at the scenery therough the large window. Though soon enough you heard Kamski get out of the pool and you turned to watch as his android put a bath robe on him. Connor stood next to you though stayed silent. Though Kamski's eyes were trained on you. "Lieutenant... What brings you here?" he asked folding his hands in front of him.
"My android and I here are looking into deviant cases. We were wondering if you knew anything about deviants." You said leaning on one leg as your arms crosses. Connor still stood there with his perfect posture. Kamski raised his brows and began to almost circle connor causing both you and connor to turn around to look at Kamski.
"Deviants... Intricate beings who believe they are human when they are only a machine..." He muttered while looking at Connor the way an animal would hunt for his food. "But of course that's just what they are in theory. But let me ask you this." he said still keeping eye contact with Connor. He took a step closer to Connor who had a hint of a nervous look to him. He looked at his model number and raised a brow. "An RK800... Connor, right?" he asked then looking back up at Connors brown eyes. Connor only gave a small nod. "Let me ask you this, Connor. Do you have any sort of doubt or human emotion?" he asked Connor making your brows furrow. Connors LED flashed yellow before he answered.
"No. I'm simply a machine. Machines don't feel emotions." he finally spoke. Kamski chuckled.
"No.. That's what your programmed to say..." He said but then turned to you. "I am curious about you..." He said now stepping in front of you. You stared him directly in the eyes as if you were staring death in the eyes. "How do you feel about this... Android?" he asked you. You simply raised a brow.
"If your implying that I have some sort of connection with him such as love or even a brother to me. Then don't expect anything Kamski... He's just my coworker." You snapped back but not harshly. He gave a small nod then turned back to Connor.
"And what about you. What do you feel about her?" he asked Connor this time. Who's LED turned yellow again.
"I have no feelings for my coworker..." he replied. Kamski fell silent this time and backed up a little.
"You know... I was the one who created the very first android to pass the Turing test. I will admit, it was quite difficult to get that done by the way." He said as he turned to one of the androids that lived here. "Chloe." He called over and one of the female androids. Came over with a blank expression. "I'd like to do what I call the Kamski test." He said as he gently pushed Chloe down and she simply sat on her knees in front of Connor. Your brows forrowed and you felt on edge. "It's a simple test really. A test that I find... Interesting." he said as he pulled a gun out from the drawer though raised his hands to show he wasn't going to hurt anyone. He handed Connor the gun and stood behind him as he aimed the gun towards Chloe. Your eyes widened. "Now. If you shoot her, you get all the answers to your questions... If you don't shoot her. Then you leave having no answers..." He said and stood on the other side of Connor. You shook your head.
"Okay no. I've had enough of this. Don't shoot it Connor." You said taking a step closer to Connor who's LED was flashing yellow.
"Shoot her." Kamski said like the devil on his shoulder.
"Connor don't you fucking dare!"
"Do it and you will get all the answers you need."
"Don't listen to that sick fuck and let's get the hell out of here!"
"Do it Connor. After all... She's just a machine."
"Connor listen to me dammit!"
Okay I'm pretty sure I messed up the order of the whole thing. I'm pretty sure Connor and Hank go to the Stratford tower first before the Kamski thing but before I even figured that out I had wrote like half of this chapter and honestly said fuck it before continuing. All because I didn't feel like deleting it all and rewriting it and dumping the idea I had.
