Final

You lowered the gun and Connor fell to the ground now shut down. You let out a sigh and looked over to Connor. He looked shocked but soon smiled and opened his arms. You smiled back and ran into his arms. He held you tightly in his arms and you held him tightly into your own. "I'm so glad everything turned out okay..." You muttered and held him a bit tighter. He gave your back a gentle rub and gave a small chuckle. But he quickly grew silent and pulled away from you. He placed a gentle hand on your cheek.

"I'm glad to see you... But you need to get out of here... Go back home... I'll meet you there when everything is safe..." He spoke out in a soft and serious tone. You immediately looked disappointed at his words. His face got closer to you. "I promise..." He whispered before crashing his lips into yours. You wrapped your arms around him and his around your waist. You pulled away from him just a tiny bit.

"...I'll see you later then..." You said and kissed his cheek before trying to sneak your way out. Connor watched you leave before converting all the androids. Once he did, he lead all of them to where Markus was.

You eventually got home safely and couldn't help but immediately worry. You crashed on the couch and flipped the TV on. Immediately the news was on. You watched intently as there was an airial view of where you were before. Markus, North, Josh and Simon were surrounded with a bit of other androids. Guns were pointed at them and you leaned toward the TV all nervous about what will happen. Though what happened next, surprised you.

"Hold on just a little while longer..." Markus began. His voice was actually nice to your ears.

"Hold on just a little while longer... Hold on just a little while longer. Everything will be alright. Everything will be alright..."

North stepped forward and began to join quietly at first. "Fight on just a little while longer... Fight on just a little while longer. Pray on just a little while longer..."

The rest of the androids then stepped up and began to join as well in a lovely harmony. "Everything will be alright." The news reporter commented but you ignored it and only listened to the singing. "everything will be alright..."

The androids began louder now. "Sing on just a little while longer... Sing on just a little while longer... Sing on just a little while longer... Everything will be alright... Everything will be..." there was a bit of a pause before Markus finished it all "Alright..." You didn't realize you were crying until you felt a droplet land on your hand. You sniffles and wiped away your tears. You watched the news and watched the soldiers lowered their guns and soon began backing away. The news cut and went on to other stuff that was happening. You glanced at your phone debating on weither or not you should call Connor. But his words rang in your head again.

I'm glad to see you... But you need to get out of here... Go back home... I'll meet you there when everything is safe..." He spoke out in a soft and serious tone. You immediately looked disappointed at his words. His face got closer to you. "I promise..." He whispered.

You let out a sigh and got up to make yourself some food. It took a while to make but you set yourself at the couch again while eating. The news cut back to Markus and everyone else. There were thousands of androids now, if not more than that. The camera zoomed in on who was on the large yellow platform. Your eyes teared up again when you saw Connor standing up there behind them. You couldn't help but be a smiling mess when you saw him up there. Though you quickly noticed something was off. His expression was blank and unblinking as he began to slowly pull out a gun from his back pocket. "Connor no..." You muttered. You blocked out Markus's speech again and watched Connor intently. He began to slowly raise his gun towards Markus but then he blinked a few times seemingly confused and quickly put the gun away making you let out a breath that you didn't know you were holding. Markus had finished his speech and everyone cheered. Now all you had to do was wait for Connor to arrive.

"So this is the guy you were so attached to?" Hank asked with a brow raised as he had a glass of alcohol in his hand. You, Connor and Hank were celebrating the androids freedom and also you joining back at the DPD. You let out a chuckle.

"Yep." You replied happily and took a sup of your own drink. Hank let out a chuckle as well and shook his head slowly.

"Don't he look a little goofy to you though?" He asked you teasingly. You and Connor looked at each other for a moment before you laughed a little and turned to Hank.

"Yeah. But I think that's why I like him. He looks like a cute lost puppy." (Okay but Connor really does look like a lost puppy. Don't @ me). Connor looked at you with a cute pout. And you couldn't help but laugh out and give his cheek a small kiss.

"More with this mushy gushy shit and I might need more to drink..." Hank grumbled teasingly. You laughed at his remark and so did Connor.

"Sorry I'm so helplessly in love with him." You teased back. You took another sip of your drink before raising it toward Hank. "To android freedom and rights... But more importantly, for us... All of us." You said with a smile. Hank tapped your glass with his. Though Connor didn't have a drink due to him being an android. But it was alright. One the two of you tapped glasses, you and Hank took a big sip and Hank let out a belch making you laugh. "God... I miss you back at the DPD Hank. Our investigations were too fun." You said leaning against Connor's shoulder. His arm was draped over your shoulders so you figured you would take advantage of it.

"Yeah I miss you too short fry. Though my days are done." hank replied nonchalantly. You gave a shrug.

"I know. But it was good having you Hank. It really was." You said softly. Hank gave a small smile.

"I know your not Cole and I don't think anyone could replace him but... You feel like the daughter I've never had and I couldn't be more thankful than that..." Hank replied not breaking eye contact to show his sincerity. Your eyes watered and you got up to move over to him.

"Oh come here you big doof!" You exclaimed hugging him and crying tears of joy. Connor watched you two with a full heart. And smiled as well. You looked over to him and motioned him over. He chuckled and joined the hug. "I love my big weird family..." You muttered out with tears still in your eyes.
