And here it is...the last prompted AU, tomorrow's is gonna be a special one!
"Alden! Be careful! You're gonna pull my shoulder out of its socket!" Winston called as his boyfriend pulled him along the evening beach.
The two of them finally stopped, the waves behind Alden crashing against the sand. Winston stood facing him, confused as to what was happening.
"Alden? Why are we out here? It's a beautiful night, but shouldn't we be getting to bed?" He asked. Alden sighed.
"Winston, I love you so much...and I'm not too good with words. So I don't say it much, but I'm trying my best to say it more, because I want you to know it's true. And I want to prove it to you." He said, reaching for his pocket.
"I love you too, Alden...you don't have to do big things to-oh...oh my." Winston was cut off as Alden got down on one knee.
He was...proposing? Winston's face went red with emotion. He smiled as Alden opened up the ring box.
"Winston Smythe Gray, will you make me the happiest guy in the universe...and marry me?" He popped the question. Winston put his hands over his face. He was getting so emotional he didn't want to show it.
"Oh, Al...I love you with all my heart! Yes! Yes, you big lover boy!" Winston pulled him to his feet, and swung him around.
"The ring is so beautiful..." he marveled as Alden slid it on his finger.
"Just like you." He whispered. Winston blushed redder, and planted a kiss on his now fiancée's cheek.
"Come on, babe. Let's go back home and I'll bake us some celebratory engagement cookies!" Winston declared happily. Alden smiled as they walked back to the car.
He knew he'd made the right choice.

But, this is the last AU where I'm given a specific prompt...and tomorrow is the last day of August. This little event made it go by so quickly! School's starting soon and I'm sad ;-;
