I've been sitting on a picnic bench in the school's back field for almost fifteen minutes now. The triplets are still no where to be found as Angelo called Seth and said that he need to speak to his children. They excused themselves and went around the school but still haven't returned.
Sighing, I pull my attention away from my cell phone and look towards the football field with a track around it. The track team is stretching while the football players are huddled up around the coach—who happens to be my uncle. It surprises me how my uncle is somehow able to work with fifteen to seventeen year old boys but not his five year old. The only thing these teenage boys care about is killing people and fucking around. I'm actually surprised that he manages to calm them down and focus on the sport. Our school may be for the mafia's of Canada but we still have sports team. I'm actually on the flag football girls team that my uncle also coaches.
Deciding to be a good niece, I watch as my uncle orders the boys around but something seems off today. They aren't doing so well and I could tell my uncle is getting annoyed. My uncle is a good coach, I just don't understand why he's letting these dumb-asses get into his head. Not even five minutes into the play, the quarterback completely misses the pass to the wide receiver on his right. My uncle shouts for them to repeat the play and the guy still misses it.
Groaning in annoyance, I'm about to get up and yell at my uncle when I hear a chuckle from behind me. "Still can't teach shit."
Snapping my head towards the person I was about to tell off, my angry face softened as I gasp at who it is. "Missed me?" Luca smirks as he raises as eyebrow. For some reason, my legs refuse to move and my body is as stiff as a board.
My bottom lip trembles as I could feel tears forming. "This can't be real." I sniff as Luca's once happy aura turns into one of concern as he practically sprints towards me.
Engulfing me in a hug, I rest my head in the crook of his neck. "Oh god. Are you alright? What's wrong? Are you okay?" He asks me as he pulls away and checks my body. I giggle at his cuteness but a sob quickly follows. His eyes meet mine and I can tell that he's worried. "What wrong? What did I do?"
I shake my head as a smile forms on my face. "Nothing." Moving away, I cup his face. "I'm just—I just thought I'd never see you again. I'm so happy you're here."
He chuckles lights and squeezes my waist. "I'm happy too." After a couple of minutes of staring, we pull completely apart as he holds my hands in his.
Getting a better look at Luca, he looks like a hunk—if I may add, in a tight blue short t-shirt that fits perfectly around his biceps allowing them to pop. He has faded jeans on making them look yummy and dark blue Adidas which rounds off the outfit perfectly. After eyeing him like a piece of meat, I make my way back to his face. A smirk remains on his lips as I could feel the heat rush to my cheeks. "You done checking me out?"
Covering my face with my hands, I nod my head. "Oh god. That's embarrassing." I mumble.
A light chuckle is heard as Luca pulls my hands away from my face. "Hey come on. Look at me." My eyes dart to his loving chocolate eyes and I instantly melt. I missed him so much. "It's not embarrassing. It shows me that you won't look at another guy."
Scoffing at his comment, I roll my eyes which only encourages him to send me a wink. "And it shows me how much you missed me."
Shaking my head, I push him back lightly. "You're such a—"
"Such a what?" I purse my lips as it curves up slightly. Shaking my head once more, I cross my arms and watch him carefully. "Now." Luca stands a couple of feet away with his arms wide open. "Come show your boyfriend some love."
