It's been ten years since the war.

Ten years of peace and love and being with Gianluca.

A smile stretches across my face as I rub my big stomach. Being seven months pregnant is a real pain and the need to pee again is slowly approaching. Looking through our wedding photos, I smile at the old memories. Still can't believe that it's been two years since we've been married.

Two years of love and joy with our new little baby that's growing inside of me. I smile down at my stomach and rub it. "Mommy!" My kids yell as they run towards my bedroom.

"Hey cuties." I kiss each of them on the forehead.

"What are you looking at?" Alice, my five year old daughter asks me as she pushes her twin brother to the side. Her big brown eyes gaze in wonder as she looks at my wedding pictures. Her light brown hair falls over her face as she points her little finger at the photo of me and Gianluca smiling. "You look pretty mommy."

I smile. "Thank you." Her twin brother pushes her to the side as he looks down at the same picture. Alice glares at him and nudges him back. I still can't believe I have five year olds. Man does time fly.

I got pregnant with the twins after Gianluca asked me to marry him. When I told him about the twins, his face lit up like a Christmas tree. After preparing for the baby shower, we forgot about the wedding and focused on our future children. What we didn't know was how much work it was going to be. Delaying the wedding for three years, we were finally able to get married and become a family.

I only found out seven months ago that I was pregnant with baby number three, as Gianluca and I wanted two children. Guess things happen for a reason right.

"I'm looking at me and daddy's wedding pictures." I smile down at Alice as my two little munchkins sit besides me.

"I remember that night!" Mario exclaims, jumping up and down on the bed. "We were there!" He sits back down making his light brown hair covers his bright blue eyes.

I nod my head, "Yes you were. So was Zia Amanda, Zia Isabella, Zia Sarah, Zio Tyler, Zio Ricky and Zio Kieth."

"Yeah! Then we went to Zio Tyler and Zia Amanda's house for the weekend while you and daddy left for vacation." Alice pouts as I giggle at her reaction.

"Don't forget about Zio Francesco, Zio Massimo and Zio Vince kids! They're your family too!" Gianluca chuckles as he leans on the doorframe. "Now come on! Your grandparents are here!"

The kids screech in excitement as they scurry out of the room and down the hall. "They're cute."

"They're crazy!" I laugh while looking at him. "Just like you."

"Okay, if we're being completely honest, Alice may look like me but she's all you." He plops down besides me on the bed, wrapping his arms around my waist placing his head on my shoulder. "Same snappy and sassy personality like her mommy."

"Oh please." I say with an eye roll. "Mario has your competitiveness and I already see how he is with the girls at his daycare. What a player." I laugh as I hold my stomach. Sighing, I smile down at it. "I hope this one is a good one."

Gianluca kisses the side of my head. "Whatever makes you happy, love."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I laugh while pulling away from him.

"These children of ours are a mix of us, they're all bound to be as crazy and psychotic as we are. Now," Luca is quick to his feet as he extends a hand for me. "Let's go see what our parents are up to. Don't want them to stay with the kids for too long." Helping me up, I carefully walk down the stairs and greet my parents in the living room.

I'm happy that my life ended up like this. With both of the top mafia'a coming to one as the two of us got married.

There has been so much peace within both of them that it's refreshing.

I guess the two 'star cross lovers' could get their happily ever after, after all.
