Vivesh reached the hospital after filing the accident. He enquired the receptionist
"Hello. How are you doing? I am looking for a patient named Tara Vivesh. She is admitted here before a couple of hours. Can you please check and tell her room number."

"Sure. Can you please hold on a moment?", said she and checked the system.

He nodded and waited with the urge to see Tara soon.

"Tara Vivesh, Age 35. The blood cancer patient right?", she asked to ensure if she pulled the correct record.

Vivesh replied yes and she continued,
"She is in the cancer ward. Room no. 224. A block away from here. Walk down the alley. Take your first right then walk to the end and take the last left."

"Thanks, ma'am", greeted Vivesh and rushed to the block.

Vivesh entered the room where she was admitted. Tara looked thin, pale and feeble. She was sleeping and her face looked exhausted and strained due to the immeasurable pain. He sat in a chair nearby her bed and saw her helplessly with his sad stricken face.

He didn't touch her since he doesn't want to wake her up. But she slowly opened her eyes as though her inner voice had called her and said

"Tara, Tara.. Your darling Vivu came for you. Why are you still sleeping? Wake up, dear."

She got up to sit in the bed. Vivesh stopped her and asked to lie down.

"At last, you came Vivu. Are you alright? You didn't get hurt anywhere right?", she muttered.

"I have to ask you how you feel but you are asking me how I am. Sorry dear! I am not matured enough to be available for you and I always mess up things."

"No dear. You're so tensed. It's natural. But I don't want your tension to take over you. My only fear is you should not get hurt thinking about me. You are the only world for Glory now. Don't forget that."

"Hush..Please don't start again", he said keeping his finger on her lips.

She took his finger off and said, "I sense something is not good Vivu. I want to spend the rest of my days with you. Will you spend more time with me."

"I will be with you. I'll be near you. I'll inform my office that I will be working from home for a month. You will be alright within a month. So be happy and don't feel anything bad. Think Positive. I say this to you many times. But why aren't you hearing my words?"

"Ok. Ok. I'll be alright if you are near me."

Vivesh hugged Tara tightly and a tear dropped from both of their eyes.

"Did you inform Sarah and your parents that you are in the hospital?"

"No dear. I didn't inform. Can you inform them? I talked with Glory before I vomited. I don't know what she is doing also. I couldn't think of anything or anyone dear. My body and mind are so weak to think."

"Darling, no worries. I'll call and inform them. I will take care. Glory will be fine there in your mom's home. She is a smart kid and won't trouble anyone. She'll be fine. You just relax. I'll speak to them and come."

Vivesh went out of the room to talk with them. Tara just laid in the bed and closed her eyes.

He informed Chloe, his mother in law about the hospitalization of Tara and asked her to come at the visiting hours. He also spoke with Glory.

When he was about to leave the hallway the doctor headed to Tara's room.

"Hello, doctor. I'm Tara's husband Vivesh."

"Hello Vivesh, I do remember you. My name is James. Once I was with Dr. Vincent when he was in an appointment with Tara. Vincent is my close friend. He had discussed about Tara's health condition last month with me. Today, I am in charge. I was heading to Tara's room to discuss her health condition and you have stopped me now. Shall we go in and talk."

"Dr. James, if her condition is improving we can go in and discuss. If not can we both discuss alone? I don't want to see her worried. I can tell her once she feels better."

"Hmm. Ok. I can understand. I should inform the patient too. But your request seems valid to me. Come let's go to other room and discuss."

Vivesh and James went to an empty treatment room.

"Vivesh, I am really sorry to say it. Tara's health condition isn't good."

"Doctor! What do you say? Is there no improvement? Can we change any treatment and check? How much ever costly it is we can try for a treatment please"

"See Vivesh. It's not about the cost. Her health is going really very bad. The cancer cells are multiplying in her blood in an unimaginable and faster rate. We can try medicines and shock treatments. But I can't say that her body will respond to it."

"You can try treating her doctor We can see if her body responds. I'm having hope she'll get cured."

"If her health condition didn't improve a bit means she'll stay alive for only a month or less than that. I can try to do whatever I am able to do. Rest is in God's hand. Stay strong. Try to keep her happy since she is in the last stage of her life. Sorry gentleman!"

"When can I discharge her? When will the treatment start and what's the plan doctor?"

"You can discharge her after a day's observation. After that weekly twice she needs to visit for treatment. I'm sorry to say this treatment will be more painful. Ask her to stay strong. I'll come and check her tomorrow morning."

"Ok thanks, doctor. Please try to save her."

Dr. James nodded his head and gave a pat on his shoulder and asked him to stay strong.

Even though Vivesh was broken after hearing the news he still had a hope that she will be back. He believed in God. More than God he believed in their love.

Tara's last dates are set by the doctor and the clocks are ticking.

Will a doctor's words come true and is the death assured for her?

Or will the God intervene in her life?

Or will their love save her from death bed and give her a new life?
