There is a familiar saying: Familiarity breeds Contempt. But in Tara's case, it should change to Physical Intimacy breeds Contempt.

Tara thought that the fierce physical drive with Sam was the outcome of immense love. She believed his words that she was rushing to take their relationship to the next level. But as days passed, his disdain towards her grew.

Sam treated her like a toy designed and designated for sex. She enjoyed his company, but he did not offer a sense of belonging to her. Their long walks and love talks were bygone. He sealed her lips, and her words got lost like the words written in flowing water. Their conversation became sign language where their bodies communicated more than their words.

Tara realized he didn't give a damn about their relationship. He indirectly greeted her, Wham, Bam, Thank you, ma'am.

The only difference is, Tara was not a one night stand to Sam, she became a decorated daily nightstand. So she devised a plan to sort out this relationship circus with him.

Tara pulled out her mobile and called Sam.

"Hello, Sam."

"Tara, tell me, baby."

"Tonight, I am not driving to your home. For a change, we will go to a restaurant for dinner. Can we go to our favorite spot, the Mexican Café, which is near your home?"

"I can't make it today, baby. I am so tired. Can you come to my home? I'm missing your warmth. I want to hold you in my arms."

Flirty words again, Tara decided not to fall for it.

"But Sam, your home is not that far from the café. Why you reason to avoid taking me out? I need some air. We need to talk."

"Not avoiding you. I am not well today. Stop acting like a kid. Grow up a little, dear."

"You are dodging, Sam. Your excuse games won't work. You very well know I am not acting like a kid. From the past month, I am trying to spend some quality time with you, but you brush me off. Today, I am not leaving you until you speak out."

"Don't get angry, my dear. Aren't we spending quality time in my home? We are having a lot of fun. You always want me by your side. It will happen but, this is not the right time for it, baby. I've got a lot running in my head."

"You are redirecting me, Sam. I am not asking you to be by my side for the whole day. I need some time to talk about us. You are not paving the way for it."

"My baby is mad at me only because of this. Am I right?"

"Yes, Sam. Give me a solution, not a reply."

"The solution is simple, dear. Come to my home, and we will sort it out face to face."

"I am not coming to your home. Either come out, or we don't have to meet," Tara was pretty direct this time which she usually never did.

"Hmm. Your cheeks are pink and flushed in anger. It would look like a cherry blossom. Ha! But I cannot see it. How unlucky I am. That's why I said to come to my home. Don't make me beg baby. Please come."

"Cut off the bullshit, Sam. Stop playing mind games with me. It won't work anymore."

"Why are you so fierce now? What did I do?"

"What you didn't do? You used me for your pleasure Sam, and you call it love. It is so ridiculous."

"Whoa...Whoa...! Wait, my dear. You are talking as though I am a pervert. I never forced you. You were the one who enjoyed the most from me. You've said it many times as well. Do not turn this over to me, baby."

No one can win Sam when he argues. He has great potential and power in his talk that can put anyone down. Tara is no exception. She went on mute as she could not reply to him.

"Hey, baby! You there...? Why did you freeze like a snowman? Ah! You can't be a snowman right. You are my cute snow angel."

Even though Tara was angry, she can't resist his flattery. She had a slight smile at the corner of her lips. She tried to hide it by biting her lips to keep her head straight.

She composed herself and replied, "Sam. Let's talk something straight. No more playing, please."

"Don't hide the smile which had hit the doors to come out of your face, baby. I can sense it."

"You find whatever I do, no matter you are around me or not, Sam," she started slipping off.

"Ya, I am always around you."

"I too want to be, around you, talk with you, and have fun, the way we used to when we met first."

"That's why I asked you to come over, baby. Are you coming today? I swear to God, I miss you a lot."

"Ok, Sam. I'll get ready soon and will drive to your home. See you."

"Ya, come soon, baby. Can't wait to see you."

Game over. Tara lost her mind again and fell into the maze. She ended up being a mouse caught in the fanciest trap designed by him specifically for her.
