"...then the pirate kissed the princess and they both went on his flying ship. They lived in happiness forever. The end."

It's my favorite time of the day. When I read to him a story just before he gets asleep. Sometimes it's about pirates, sometimes princesses, sometimes knights. Sometimes they're all in the same story.
I watch him slowly closing his eyes. He didn't wanna sleep at first, but quickly the tiredness had gotten him.
I pass a hand on his forehead, slipping away some hair, and I put gently a kiss on it. Then I put back the book on a table and I murmur him "goodnight sweetie" , turn the light completely off and walk away out of this room.
I go through the large corridor, my hand slipping on the orange walls. When I come in the living-room, my husband, Andrea, is already here.
"You missed him, I tell him. He's asleep. Then I add slowly "like always".
"I'm sorry Luisa, I had a lot of work.
"Yeah, you're right, it's so much more important than our son !
"Please...
"No Andre ! When we met each other we told us we would never abandon Us. Now look at us. We must've missed something.
"Luisa, listen...
"I'm tired listening. I'm getting to sleep."
He sighs, then I leave him.

In reality, all of this conversation we had was a role I was playing : the role of the angry mother and wife who never sees her husband. Even If he truly is annoying sometimes. How could he believe I loved him ?

Because, yes, I don't. Remember ? I can't love anybody truly with all my heart. This Andrea is just a piece of a giant game that I build.
Every time we fight I think about divorce, but that would mean no more Luisa. And, even if I'm not the mother he believes I am, I care a tiny little about this child.
I still gave him birth, even if it was another part of my game. Even if I wasn't sincere. Even if I didn't feel anything for him. He still got out of my body and even if I'm not a real person and I'm selfish, I totally am not a monster.

Well, that's what I think.
