The phone rings again. I cut it off. I need time to think.
Being friend with Leeann is part of my identity. If I ain't anymore, it could compromise my plans, and that is the last thing I want.
I finally, after the seventh call, take the phone in my hand.

Leeann's crying voice appears.
"Oh my god Val I thought you would never answer I'm so, so -
"Stop it, Lee. I won't tell.
I hear her sighing of release through the phone.
"That...that means a lot.
"I'm doing this for you, because you're my ( I hesitate saying that word) f-friend.
"Than-
"...but that doesn't mean I understand what you did. I'm very disappointed at you.
She doesn't answer, until :
"I hope you'll forgive me someday.
"I hope I will. Let's meet tomorrow at your house. To talk about it.
"Thanks Val."
Then she ends up the call.
But as I pull the phone down next to me the only image that come to my mind is Calvin.
Why can't I just...forget him ?
That's what I always fucking did.
But I don't know why, but I have the feeling that this isn't going to work this time.
I hope I'm wrong.
