Damn. I have a meeting in half an hour and I still haven't finished that damn salad.
Leeann, My best friend - well, Valentine's - is starring at me :
« Could you please pay attention to me ? Should I remember you I invited you at restaurant to TALK ?
« Yeah, sorry Lee. I'm very busy. I need to be at Echnocorp's head quarters in thirteen minutes and I don't know if I can finish that damn salad. It doesn't even have taste !
"Oh, poor you ! Yeah, Val, it's always about you ! Well, go to your damn meeting ! I was telling you I might get divorced with Alex but seriously, it's okay ! It doesn't matter if you don't care.
She wait a bit, then adds :
"You never cared."

A good friend would've ran at her as soon as she'd see her going away. But not me. Because, hey, she's right. I don't care.
It's not my life, it's not my best friend. All she thinks she knows about me is fake. She doesn't know the real me. There isn't a real me.

I don't care, even if it's sad, about her fucking husband. It isn't new that her couple has bad moments. It's been three years they should have divorced but never truly did. So I let her walk, it's the best I can do.
She will come back.
They always came back.
