Woo rant 11! Never thought I'd make it this far, lol.

I just don't get it.
I read all kinds of books, regardless of whether they're popular or not. But some people only read books that are reallllll popular. I don't get it. Why don't you give less noticed writers a chance?
Some writers get popular for no reason. I mean, their plots are average, their grammar is so-so, and they have tons of spelling mistakes it's cringe-worthy. But no one notices (I mean, at least one grammar nazi would have noticed) and everyone just worships the book.
But what about the unpopular ones with perfect grammar, spelling, and a wonderful plot? They get 100 reads and 4 votes. Andddd they get a critic they didn't ask for, which may be a good thing. Everyone starts pointing out the typos as "spelling mistakes".
Popular writers always bribe their readers with love and virtual cookies. Like, they aren't even real, lol. They're like "omggg I'll love you guys forever if you voteeeeee!" It just makes me laugh and not vote.
Undiscovered gems are so not undiscovered gems. Their reads are in millions. They have thousands of votes. They should rename the section to discovered, really.
Hmm :/

RandomThis is basically a book of rants about random stuff. If you are easily offended and/or against swearing, please do not read this. I will most likely offend people due to my peculiar nature. You have been warned.
