Are You Happy Now?

entry one.

I'm excited. New school. New friends. New teachers. New start.

I won't let what happened before happen again. I cannot let it happen again. I brush through my hair and pull it back into a high ponytail. And touch up my skin making sure my blemishes didn't appear too harsh with some moisturiser I also fix my brows, filling them in and apply some mascara. I took my medication. I couldn't forget about that. I went down to make some breakfast, a big smile on my face.

"Why you so happy, my love?" My mom questioned as she made a cup of tea.

I went over to her giving her a hug, telling her its a new start. My step dad walks in his hair messy and his eyes tired. I grab the letters from the hallway and hand them to my parents as I make some toast and eat it.

"Hey sweetheart," He gives me some money for a coffee on the way to school. I head upstairs and put my uniform on. I slip the black trousers on my legs and the white blouse over my chest followed by the black blazer. I look at myself in the mirror. Wow. I head downstairs and show my parents the uniform. 

"Wow. You look really smart (Y/N). Now promise me you'll have a good day?" My mom places her hands on my cheeks and I look her right in her eyes and promise. She kissed my forehead and lets me go on my way. My step dad waving goodbye to me. I play some music to drown the world out.

People file past me staring at me, it's expected seeing as I was the new girl. I walk to the office and sort myself and my classes out. 

Today was a good day apart from some boy called Will kept talking about me every time I walked past him and I'm pretty sure he grabbed my ass but when I turned around he was talking to a blonde lad. His hair looked like a pack of noodles. I didn't know his name so I just knew him as 'Noodle head' I got all the classes I wanted so overall it was good. Tomorrow is going to be a good day. It has to be.
