arriving

Rey came to the bar starving. the last thing she ate was some leftovers of the breakfast she took from the resistance base before leaving, and to be honest, she craved the castle's food since she left it before going to Starkiller base.

She needed time to think, to process. She didn't expect to see him there, to talk to him after all the time that passed. Rey felt weird, out of place, like everyone was staring at her or heard her discussion with Ben, or Kylo... she didn't know what to call him.

She ordered what the waiter recommended, but she didn't know what it was, she just hoped it would be as delicious as the food she ate the last time she was there. when her food arrived she could feel a smile grow on her face, it looked like it was made by gods that chose exactly what ingredients to use on a plate that was just for Rey. For one moment rey could forget what just happened a couple minutes ago and it was refreshing. Maybe leaving the resistance wouldn't be as bad as she thought.

Rey ate until she was full, a very weird sensation for her, and wandered around the castle hoping to find Maz and not Kylo. At first, she was worried that someone would find out who she was, but now everyone knew who she was and they didn't seem to care. She was inspecting every new creature she could fine until she bumped into Maz.

-Hey, Maz- rey said awkwardly

-hello again, rey. How are you doing?-

-Fine, I guess.

-Good. What brought you here? Ben? Because I can tell you where he's staying- Maz said turning her head in the direction of Ben's room before being interrupted by Rey.

-No! No! I, I actually came because of this- she said taking her broken lightsaber out of her bag.

-Oh! what happened to it!- she asked already knowing where the answer was going.

-It's complicated... I prefer not talking about it.- Rey lowered her head.

-Ok...I think I actually have a little bit of knowledge on this type of things, wait here!- She said running towards a hall that looked like the one that brought Rey to Luke's lightsaber.

-fine, i'l just seat here, I guess.- she said mumbling to herself.

She sat in a bench that was facing the entire castle, it was perfect for keeping with her new entertainment of inspecting every creature that she saw and inventing life stories about them. one was an old smuggler that travelled the whole galaxy searching for the best food ever. she imagined him sitting in a space-rock with a space-suit and a space-mask that couldn't let him eat. She couldn't help chuckling a little bit at the image of him being all grumpy in space because he couldn't eat the super expensive food that he bought just for the occasion.

Rey was feeling calm and happy for that moment. everything was working out for her: Maz was helping her with her lightsaber, she was feeling a little bit free-er because of her telling Rose about Kylo... Oh, right. Kylo Ren was there too. Her mind was immediately covered with a rainy cloud that made her smile fade.

-Crap- Rey said while standing to go to the bathroom to refresh herself a little bit. She didn't know where the bathroom where but she took it as a chance to explore the castle.

"bathroom,bathroom,bathroom...nooooo" she thought to herself every time she went into the wrong isle. Finally after intense searching for at least ten minutes Rey gave up and finally asked a what looked like a waiter where the bathroom was.

-You're looking for a bathroom? Sorry, there isn't one here. You have to check in in a room, first.- They said.

-ummm... It's fine then, thank you!- she said awkwardly.

-Hey, don't worry, its free the first night. you just have to go there...- they pointed out to a man sitting in a desk looking at some papers. Rey wondered how he could be so focused with all the noise.-... and he will check you in! Have a nice time!- they said smiling and walking away

-Thanks!- she yelled but they didn't listen. She guessed she would be staying the night then. Luckily for her the resistance base had the same time system as the castle so if she stayed one night she still could make it to the big fight Leia was talking about. Would Kylo be there too? would she have to kill him? Or would he have to kill her?!

Oh no.

She had to talk to him.
