7. Maybe

Changes

Oh what a familiar word that was

Taehyung's whole life was around the word changes. Never was a word so hurtful to him than that one. As much as he wished the word didn't exist it would still not stop the changes to happen

It changed when his mom stopped coming home at 5 pm every day and started cooking a meal to eat with them at 7 pm

It changed when his friends started hanging around the cool kids because Taehyung wasn't cool enough and only had ugly blue and red colors on him

It changed when his first love left him for his own brother by blood and still he blames himself for still calling it his first love

It changed when he told his father the words of his sexually only to get the pretty colors on his skin again and never hearing a word leaving his fathers mouth again

It changed when they told him he changed

And that's maybe when he realized everything that changed

And maybe that's why he's used to the change that Jungkook walked inside his room because now he doesn't have his own room anymore now that it had changed.

"Hey.."

Jungkook Said walking inside taehyungs room not minding the boring colors on the wall and beds. He didn't mind at all he loved these colors as-well

Upon seeing this Taehyung took a note to buy at-lest something colorful in his room next time they go shopping

Jungkook turned his gaze to the boy sitting on the bed opposite his. Noting how his brown hair laid over his tired eyes who had its own story behind them. He couldn't help staring into them, the way the brunettes long eyelashes looked so pretty and the way his whole face was sculptured so perfectly

The cough of the other made him go back to reality and sat down his things on the bed before turning to the said boy again.

"I hope the bed is comfortable we haven't used it in a while so it's pretty old but if there's anything you want just tell me"

Taehyung said giving him his unique smile who would light up a dark room and if you don't believe it then you should ask Jungkook cause he for sure was blind right now.

He had never seen such a smile before not only did it make him blind but also some weird flip flop in his stomach.

"Your smile is beautiful"

It slipped out. He swear it slipped out but that didn't stop Taehyung from becoming bright pink and turning his head to the side to hide his flustered state from the tattooed guy.

"T-thank you"

Jungkook was so close to call the elder cute as-well but stopped himself to not kill the poor boy.

"You know, I enjoyed talking to you on the phone"

"W-what"

Stuttered Taehyung watching as Jungkook sat down on the bed opposite him.

"When you called. I enjoyed talking to you"

Jungkook said again trying to clear it out for the brunette who looked pinker than before. Looking down Taehyung mumbled a "me too" that's supposed to go unheard by the matters ears but Jungkook catches it anyway a small smile on his face.

Taehyung went down under his covers turning to the other side so his back was faced to jungkook who was staring holes into him as he laid down aswell.

"look at me"

Jungkook Said so unbothered like it was such a normal thing to say to a partially stranger who's also his roommate from now on

"W-hat w-why"

Don't blame Taehyung for stuttering he was not used to this kind of attention from a total stranger who he also had been talking to over a phone

Jungkook shrugged "no reason, just want to face you" he answered

Taehyung gulped but turned around anyway startled from the sudden eye contact with the raven head who was already staring at him.

The two boys didn't share any other words as they just stared at each other until they fell asleep (read:Taehyung fell asleep, Jungkook staring at him a few more hours before falling asleep after him)

Maybe this was a change

Maybe this also was his first good change

Maybe sometimes changes can be good and other times evil

but Taehyung didn't blame them. Taehyung didn't Blame anyone. He maybe blamed himself a little to much
