We arrive at the club and it's completely packed, with barely any room to move around.
"Damon, I'm going to get us drinks, find somewhere to sit!" I yell over all the intense noise around us.
He practically ignores me, only giving me a slight glance. I'm beginning to realize that he's not as good as I thought he was. Good in bed? Sure. Good as a person? Questionable. Very questionable
I manage to fight my way to the bar, ordering us two drinks.
A blonde guy approaches me and snakes his arm around me, "hey babe, you wanna dance?"
"I'm here with someone, no thanks."
"I don't care, let's dance!"
"I suggest you get your hands off of me before I make you." I demand.
"What are you gonna do?" He chuckles, "you're just a girl."
I twist his arm in front of me and flip his body over my back and shoulder with ease. He groans in pain as he's laying on the floor. I quickly walk away into the crowd so people don't notice me.
I accidentally bump into Katherine on the dance floor.
"Oh hey, Katherine right? We met this morning" I semi-yell over the music.
"That's me. I didn't catch your name this morning."
"Arabella."
"How do you know Damon?" She asks.
"It was a few-night-stand if you know what I mean." I laugh.
She smirks, "that's all he's good for."
"I realized that. I don't think I'll be seeing him again." I lie.
"I like you, Arabella. I can see us working together in the future."
I smile back at her as we dance together, thank the angel I'm a good liar.
A few minutes later Damon wanders over to us.
"Arabella? What are you doing with Katherine?" He asks, trying to join in on the dancing.
"Listen Damon, it was good sex and all, but that's all it was. I don't want to see you anymore." I lie, again.
"You heard her Damon," Katherine joins, "You aren't wanted here. Go find other girls to prey on."
"But we were just together this morning..." He says.
"And now we aren't." I finish, "Now go away, it's over."
He shakes his head and starts dancing with another girl a few yards away. I hope he knows I was just acting.
"Nice job getting rid of him." Katherine compliments me.
"Thanks. It's definitely not the first time I've had to fight off annoying men."
"I didn't think it was, you're stunning."
