CHAPTER 17
It's been a month since the accident of Zoe and she was taken away by her father and her mother passed away few weeks after Zoe was taken away. I blame myself on all of this,I feel like I failed Zoe and her mom. I have been going to therapy day in day out. Ryla became my best my friend supporting me. Layla and Mikel are leaving for two weeks,just to cool off after the drama of fighting for Zoe. Nightmares are worse but I don't want to spoil their time out so I told a lie.
"We will miss you"
"It's not like you're leaving for good, you'll be back before we could even say, freedom!" Sammy shouted,excitement written all over her face.
"You throw a part we will be here in no time like a night amour"
"Never I swear. Dad mom is loosing her patience!"
"Sammy!"
"Sorry just that can't wait for you to come back already"
"Oh come here sweet pies." Layla gave us a hug. I missed these kinds of embrace. She them kissed our foreheads. Mikel came with his bag as Layla had almost six bags. We accompanied them to the car.
"Micah take care of each other. Look after Sammy." Mikel then drove off. We waved until we couldn't see the car. I felt all alone again,no Mikel,no Layla just me and Sammy.
"I'm going out. I'll be back tomorrow afternoon!" Sammy shouted in excitement. I just bit my bottom lip holding back words that wanted to come out. I've been quiet lately. I went to my room to find my phone ringing.
"Hello?"
"Hey wanna come over and watch movies?"
"I'm home alone,maybe you could come over with the movie obvious."
"OK be there in five"
My phone showed a message after the call.
Can we meet up? Baby L
When? Sent.
Now.
Later cause now I'm kinda busy. Sent
He didn't reply back. It kept me wondering. I went downstairs to make food when Sammy walked out. I was finishing off when Ryla got in. I smiled.
"Brought with me only horrors for later,and now it's just action."
"I think later we will watch them at your house cause I'll be scared as hell if I watched them her and still be alone." I said walking to the kitchen.
"I would stay over but I'm also home alone."
"Then let's leave my house and go to yours,later we come back to mine."
"If you insist."
We got to Ryla's. It was quiet and you could tell that there is no one. Happened Leroy went out with his mom and Emily to bond Ryla wasn't interested. We watched almost four movies when I received a message again.
Ballito. Baby L.
I got up. "I have to go but I'll be back."
