CHAPTER 20

I woke up,turning around my eyes met Liam's.

"Shit!" I jumped. I didn't expect to wake up watched.

He chuckle. "Scared...I was just admiring your beauty when you're sleeping."

"Thanks I guess" I said going to the bathroom making sure to lock the door. Did body chores then got in my pyjamas again.

"I got you my sweater and shorts to change." He said the moment I close the door.

"Thanks but I think they'll be big."

"You haven't tried them on yet." I took them and tried them on.

"See?" I asked turning around so he could see the over sized clothes.

"Perfect. Just pull the laces tight around your waist then everything will be perfect."

I did as he said and they became better.
"Breakfast is ready!" He shouted leaving the room.

I went downstairs. "Can I have muesli?"

"But I ordered us eggs and beacon."

"I know and thanks for that but I feel like eating muesli today."

"Shit!" He said hitting the plates to the ground. My whole body tenses. "Why can't you see I'm trying to be that same Liam. Why can't you see I'm trying so hard for you to trust me. You were always happy to be with me but now I see...fear." He was shouting the whole time but spoke softly on the last sentence,filled with pain.

"Liam..."

"What have I done to you to not even see my love for you...why do you hate me so much. Why do I have to feel so small whenever I'm with you. You cheated but I'm the one who fought for us...I'll always fight for us." He then hugged me. "But I think I should let you go cause you seem to be not happy to be with me. Go live the life you want with someone you love." He then kissed my forehead and went to clean the plates. I couldn't help but cry. Liam never did Mr wrong but to love me. Never made me feel unworthy. Never made me doubt myself. He always gave me love.

"Liam." I sounded as if I was saying it inside me. He turned to look at me. "You never done me wrong. You never made me feel otherwise but your trying is scaring. I love you and I deeply loved you but after sometime apart you scared me with your actions. Stocking me,what else have you done that I don't know." I said hugging him from the behind. "But I can't be with you but we can be friends."

"Just wish you won't regret it." He then kissed me on my lips.

After a week.
I have been Liam's best friend if I could say. He is different but not the same gentleman he was. Mikel and Layla got back on a Monday afternoon. I really was enjoying reading Ryla's diary as it had all his secrets about his plans,he even have plans on moving away after studying. I have a dinner date today with a guy from preschool. He wanted us to catch up since it's been a while.

"Hi Austin!" I greet him as he walk inside the house. "Come through elders want to meet you." He walk into the lounge.

"Mr and Mrs Berry nice to meet you." He give them a hand shake.

"Nice meeting you too Austin."

"Be back before nine or I'm going to look for you."

"Mikel. Kids have fun." Layla said. I found it cute that Mikel protected me,although it seemed to scare Austin.

Austin and I decided to go to the movies then after we can go eat at Red Square. We decide to go for animation. Then we walked to Red Square since it wasn't far.
