CHAPTER 16

It's a very cold Monday morning, and Zoe is already up. I look at the clock it was five in the morning. I went to brush my teeth,took a shower then got back to my gown.

"Zoe did you brush your teeth?"

"I did. Can I have milk please?"

"You drink too much milk. You'll get it after you've bathed."

She sighed as she got out of bed. I got her into a bathtub as I started bathing her. She wanted to wipe herself so I took that as an opportunity to go look for her stuff to wear. I walk into her mom's room, she is sleeping. Before I could walk out I heard her cough.

"Why you up early?"

"Zoe kept on playing with my hair,so it kinda woke me up."

"Oh sorry about that. She can come and sleep with me during the week."

"No it's okay,I like sleeping with her."

"Thank you. Thank you for helping me." I gave her a smile before leaving with Zoe's suitcase.

She was already in bed,playing with her hair. I let her spread the body lotion on her body. I got her pink leggings,white jersey that stopped on top of her knees and black ankle boots. She always has her hair in ponytail and bangs. I let her do my hair as I was also done wearing my uniform. We went to make breakfast as there was no one up yet.

"What do you want. For breakfast?"

"Egg,beacon, cheese and milk."

"What about juice?"

"No. I want milk please."

I made her breakfast as I only made myself eggs. I made her lunch box for school. Then we went to watch TV.

"Mommy said it is unhealthy to watch TV in the morning, and when it is dark in the room."

"What should we do then?"

"Do a morning prayer like me and mom."

"How about we chat?"

"About?" She asked playing with my hair.

"What do you want to do afternoon since it's your birthday?"

"Mommy said-"

"Stop about mommy. What do you want?"

"I want to go play games." I could see a little bit of sadness.

"Where?"

She smiled a little." GameSpy or at the Carnival land."

"We will go to both." She screamed as she gave me a big tight hug. "But promise to not cry when we didn't win any bears."

"I won't!"

At school,Emily kept on asking me about Zoe. She even wanted to join us at the games. Leroy also wanted to and even asked Ryla to come.

"The aim is to make her enjoy." I said.

"I'll buy food." Emily said.

"I'll pay for the games." Leroy added.

"Are you sure Leroy?" I asked with a grin on my face.

"Never been this sure." He said stuffing in his last bite of sandwich.

"I'll win all the games for you, so that you get home with evidence." Ryla said putting his feet on top of the table,I removed my food before pushing them off. "And I'll give you a ride anywhere you like."We all clapped for him. Ryla never really participated in anything we do,always came with negative thoughts or don't pay for anything. "That's childishness." He then closed his eyes.
