Chapter Six: Run Away...
Vivanna flung herself on her very own bed, after spending three days with the Stamos siblings.
Even though it was quite entertaining and fun... Vivanna really just wanted to come home. She hadn't been able to sleep properly for a few days due to the the same snippets of that continued to plague her dreams. Every time she would close her eyes and allow her soul to drift into the realm of reveries, Leon's anxious and fearful face appeared behind her eyelids. This would cause her eyelids to flutter open, and by doing so Leon's anxious face to disappear. And so, an ocean of fatigue had washed over Vivanna and left her extremely tired.
But even then, the moment Vivanna had entered the house, she had cleaned it entirely and then put Isaiah' clothes and her clothes in the washing machine; After which she put them in a dryer and prepared dinner for the two of them whilst Isaiah took a shower. Vivanna was in the process of setting the table when a sleepy Isaiah entered the living room, wearing his Bat Man night suit. His wet, golden hair was plastered to his face and the drops of water clung onto the tips of his hair for dear life. He yawned and made an effort to keep his eyes open. "Oh...you made Mac&Cheese." he said rather unenthusiastically compared to his usual self."Yum."Vivanna grinned at him. "Want me to feed you it?" she asked. Isaiah nodded and so Vivanna carried both of their plates to the sofa and turned on the television. "What'd you want to watch?" asked Vivanna. Isaiah shrugged, "Animal Planet?" he asked and Vivanna ruffled his hair before switching to the channel. "The Tasmanian Devil is considered as a highly endangered species..." the commentator spoke as Isaiah and Vivanna watched the channel. Yes Vivanna was a teenager.... Yes she liked watching nature shows..... No, there's nothing wrong with that. "Hmmm..." said Isaiah as he downed the Mac&Cheese that he had been chewing only seconds before and as an advertisment about a programme depicting the life of a Polar Bear played before them. "What's the matter, Isi?" asked Vivanna. "I wonder why the haven't made an Arctic Man." he answered sleepily, "Imagine how cool that would be." "Pretty cool I guess..." Vivanna agreed as she studied Isaiah-who had lazily draped himself across the sofa- and raised her eyebrows. "Isi, what time have you and Seth been sleeping at for the past few days?" The skin beneath Isaiah's right eye began to twitch- something that happened when he would fib or happened when he was embarrassed.
'Uh... nine?"
Vivanna rolled her eyes. "Answer it truthfully." she said, "Don't worry, I won't bite." "Bat Man and Spider Man slept at-" Yup, Isaiah was definitely fibbing, "ten pm." "Isi...." she said ominously causing Isaiah to sigh and bury his head in a pillow on the sofa.
"Okay, fine! Spider Man and Bat Man slept at one am, because they were up all night watching movies and playing videogames." he spoke quickly into the pillow. Vivanna sighed as she collected all of the remaining Mac&Cheese in a spoon and fed it to Isaiah.
"You know what happens when you do that right? Your asthma becomes worse."
"Stupid Asthma.." mumbled Isaiah.
Vivanna grinned and ran her hand through his floppy, golden hair as Isaiah curled by her side in the sofa and laid his head on her lap. "Could you sing to me?" he asked. Vivanna grinned. "Which song Isi?"
"The one you were singing in the bathroom today."
Vivanna felt a blush creep onto her cheeks. "What? You heard me?"
"I think everyone heard you."
Vivanna sighed and buried her head in his hair. "Why are you feeling bad about it?" asked Isaiah, "Seth thought you sang brilliantly and even Thalia was quite impressed."
