Chapter Five: Not In Love...
"Did he tell you why he came here?" asked Blake.
"No. I asked him but he just didn't answer." replied Vivanna, "You know how Sebastian is."
Right after Thalia and Vivanna had returned from the mall, Vivanna had informed Thalia that she needed to answer natures call. Thalia -who was ordering the Pizza for the four occupants of the house- nodded her head and then began asking Seth and Isaiah which Pizza they wanted. And being the superhero fangirls -more like fanboys- they were, they shouted, "HULK SIZED IRON MAN COLOURED, FLYING PIZZA!" and then began to laugh at their joke. Kids these days, Vivanna thought as she grinned and made her way to Thalia's bathroom.
The minute she entered the bathroom, she locked the door and called Blake. She then informed him about her encounter with Sebastian. Blake -like her- was absolutely infuriated about Sebastian's arrival in their city. "That stupid son of a-" there was some commotion in the background which didn't allow Vivanna to hear the rest. Blake sighed, "Could you hold on for a second Anna?" he asked.
"Yeah. Sure."
The commotion in the background resumed and was then suddenly silenced by Blake shouting, "OKAY, OKAY, I WON'T DELIVER IT!" This was followed by squeals and shouts of glee.
"Yeah, so what were you saying Ann?" asked Blake as he returned to their previous conversation. Ann was Blake's nickname for her since they were children. Vivanna felt a wall of nostalgia build up in her head, but she broke it down as soon as it came. "Are you busy or something?" Vivanna asked.
"I'm kind of stuck in a situation here. My second part time job is as a Pizza Delivery guy and we just got an order from the Colton's mansion." Blake replied and she could almost imagine him rolling his eyes. Vivanna raised her eyebrows. Colton mansion? Wasn't that where Leon lived?
".....And so most of the girls working here want to deliver it, since the Colton brothers are known for their looks. And I got the call so.... they were asking me if I could give it up for one of them to deliver." "How typical." Vivanna inputed. "Tell me about it." said Blake and suddenly he stopped talking as a voice began speaking in the background. Blake replied something that sounded awfully like, "I'll be right there."
"Apparently someone just placed an order for four large, mega family sized Margarita Pizza's. Can you believe that? And when Christina, the girl who took the order asked if it was a party the client said no!" Blake said and he let out a hollow laugh. "I mean how much can someone eat?"
Vivanna smiled. "Maybe we'd understand if we were in their position."
"Yeah, I guess. Anyways I gotta go now. Must deliver Pizza's. Bye."
"Bye. We'll talk about this later."
"Yeah, sure. Bye."
Vivanna sighed as she disconnected the phone. When Blake had laughed, he had released a hollow laugh. A laugh without any emotion. It had seemed so dry.
Vivanna felt her heart twist.
Blake was still not over Emerson....
He was still blaming himself over it.
Oh poor Blake....
Didn't he known that it was all her fault?
"Anna?" asked Thalia's muffled voice, "What are you even doing in there? It's been ten whole minutes since you went in. Is everything okay?"
