Chapter Four: Far From Fine...
Dear Emerson,
Something doesn't feel right.
I feel like I've met Leon Colton before. Like he played a main roll in my past but I'm simply unable to discover what it was.And besides all of that Leon Colton was actually being helpful to me yesterday. I had no idea that was possible.I also feel like something's up. Like their a ulterior motive behind whatever he's doing. And as if that's not bad enough, I constantly dream of him.And no... not in that cheesy-smitten way, but more of the..... I don't really know what way.
He's replaced my nightmares with dreams about himself. And there's this scenario that I keep on visiting in my dreams. It's like we're stuck in a pile of burning rubble and debris and he's helping me get out.Whenever I ask him why we are there or where we are, the dream ends abruptly. But then again I sometimes get snippets of the dreams, but am unable to connect them when I get up. The dream feels so...so....real. I can't help but dismiss it as a forgotten memory.
And yesterday I met Blake. Yeah, your soul brother, Blake. He's still a downright mess. Silent and brooding. It's like he doesn't find anything in life worthwhile. I'm so worried about him. I don't know what to do.....?
This 'sweet, innocent and defenceless' act is getting on my nerves. If only I could be myself....
But then again....
There are many 'If only''s that I rather wish would take place.
Like for your disappearance to not happen, as an example.
Lots of love,
Vivanna.
Vivanna sighed as she closed her diary and buried it in the drawer of her bedside cabinet. If only she could get answers sooner for all the mysterious that had suddenly planned to engulf her life, in an ocean of puzzlement and wonder.
If only.....
Suddenly Vivanna's phone buzzed. She read the ID name of the caller, and it read-
Incoming call from Thalia
Time to be the Vivanna that everyone here knows, voice of reason spoke in her mind as she sighed and accepted the call. Immediately Thalia began to speak to her-
"Hey! You busy?"
"Hi. Nope, not busy at all." replied Vivanna, "Why? What's up?"
"Remember, Vladmir from Chemistry?"
"The one who I thought has a crush on you? Yeah... what about him?"
"Well...he asked me if I wanted to go out with him this Friday..."
"I told you he likes you! I told you! What did you say?"
Vivanna heard Thalia sigh. "I didn't know what to say. " she said, "I mean, you know that I don't like Vladmir in that way. I just like him as a friend and nothing more."
"So what did you do?"
"I declined the offer politely." she replied, "And he seems kind of crestfallen about it."
Vivanna bit her lip. "Hey remember Carly told us that she liked Vladmir?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Tell him about it!"
"Why?"
"Just try telling him about it! I'm so sure that he feels a little something for her too. Plus, if they both start going out, he'll probably quit dwelling on thoughts of you and won't resort to disliking you for declining his date."
