Juliette's P.O.V.

After the scene, I quickly walked back to my dressing room. I didn't have any business left to do outside. I hope I don't see Perrie. I successfully got inside my room without seeing Perrie, because that would've been an unfortunate event. I looked at myself in the mirror. I have dark circles surrounding my eyes, a bit hollowed cheeks, and dull hair. I've got to do something about my hair.

Then, a thought came over me, why am I being insecure? I don't hae anything to prove, If I can't compete with Perrie, might as well withdraw from the battle. What am I talking about? Perrie and I aren't even acquaintances and I'm treating her as my enemy? That's not fair.

"Zayn I bought coffee for..." said a  voice from the doorway. I turn around. And there's the girl with lavender hair. Perrie.

"Oh, sorry." She smiled. Her teeth are blindingly white. "I think I opened a wrong door."

"There's names on the upper right of the door, if you didn't know where to go." I said these words to serve as information for her, but it sounded like I was annoyed. Thankfully, she was oblivious of my tone.

"I'm sorry. I just open the door that I remembered Zayn taking me into. But I think it's the on down the hallway," She pointed down the hallway.

"It's okay," I smiled, "Do you want anything?" I asked, motioning my hands in the room.

"Oh no. But, since I'm here, and I bought five cups of coffee, do you want one?" She held up a carton with coffee cups inside. I'm not a fan of coffee, but I didn't want to seem rude.

"Sure, thank you." She fully got inside the room, closed the door behind her using her foot, and approached me.

"What flavor?" She asked.

"Coffee has flavors?" I asked. I told you I'm not a fan of coffee, I didn't know there's different tastes in coffee. Perrie laughed.

"You're really humorous." She smiled, then handed me a cup of coffee."Here, taste this. I bet you'll like it."

I stared at the cup, then touched the tip of the cup to my lips, and swallowed the bittersweet liquid. The coffee is warm, with flavors of honey, mocha, and something else I cannot determine.

"This is good." I said, then took another sip, "what is it?"

"I realy don't know. I just think it'll taste good." She smiled again. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm really starting to like Perrie Edwards, as a friend.

"So what do you do?" I asked, and we both sat down on the couch.

"I'm a singer, and you're an actress, cause you work with Zayn and all." We laughed. The chatter continued on, talking about random things, until eventually, both of our coffee is gone.

"You're a really fun and nice person!" She said and hit me playfully in the arm.

"You are also nice, and have really gret taste in coffee, I mean, this drink is awesome!" I pointed at the empty cup.

"Why thank you, madam." She bowed her head. We giggle.

"PERRIE!" Someone shouted at the hallway.

"I'm Here!!" Perrie shouted back, and in came Zayn Malik.

"Oh my God. I thought you were lost!" Perrie got up and Zayn hugged her. I stood up too, and disposed the cup, just so I could do something not awkward.

"What are you doing here?" Zayn pulled away from Perrie,

"I was having a great chat with Juliette, until you so rudely interrupted with your uncivilized shouting." Perrie rolled her eyes playfully, and giggled. I also giggled, and the attention was diverted to me. Both are staring at me.

"Juliette, I'd love to stay and chat with you but I'm going to dinner with this very impolite man. Do you want to come?"

"Perrie, it was only a shout. You can't consider that rude, and besides, I panicked that you might have been lost these past two hours. Seriously, who chats for two hours? Girls?" Zayn defended.

"Fine, Zayn, you are absolved from my accuse." Perrie says in a posh accent.

"So, Juliette, do you want to come?" Perrie asked again. No way I'm going with them on their date. I don't want to be a third wheel.

"Uhm, no thanks. I have really long lines to memorize and my personal assistant will kill me if I don't get home on time." I collected my coat. It's approaching spring, "But, anyways, thanks for inviting me. Bye Perrie." Then, I hugged Perrie. Zayn looked shock because he took two steps back, and looked at the two of us, hugging. It seems like, it was a very unusual reaction for both girls he had dated to be friends.

I pulled away from Perrie, she smiled at me. Maybe she doesn't know that Zayn and I had a past? That's why she's so kind to me? One way or another, she's gonna find out, and I hope we stay friends, even though there's a very big chance that we turn into enemies. I hope not.

"Bye Zayn." I waved and opened the door to the hallway.
