A happy ending - Dylan's regret

They drove through the rest of the city after visiting the magical museum . There was something that had been bothering Cat , she had seen a little engraved story in the museum . it wasn't big and flashy as people belittled it . 

"Dylan , did you see that story ?" Cat asked him , tying her hair into a pony tail . "The forbidden love one ?" 

"Oh , you mean the Angel and fallen Angel one ?" Dylan clicked looking back at Cat . 

"Yeah , don't you think it's strange ?" Cat somewhat looked at Lewis from the corner of her eye , he was starring out the window , trying not to care . 

"Before my mom died , she would tell me it as she put me to sleep ." Dylan stopped for a second . "I always thought it was another fairy tale but seems it must have been true ." 

Still looking out the window , Lewis added to the private conversation which caused every one to listen too "That story is somewhat true ." all eyes were now on him . 

"What you mean somewhat ?" Dylan asked .

Lewis turned his head and pulled himself up in his seat . "There was a girl , she was stunningly beautiful and meant trouble . She was a Fallen Angel , her wings glowed with darkness . One day she went out and met a guy , they instantly felt a connection ." He paused and realized they all seemed intrigued . "Unfortunately he was an angel . The Angel loved her , the love was so pure that he wasn't allowed to fall . They tried hard to keep it a secret as it wasn't allowed . They got married some years later and had a kid , he turned out to be half . Since half is rare due to rules , he have a different kind of aura . His aura was detected easily , while the boy was only one years old , everyone tried killing him . His parents couldn't bare to see their child get hurt , they tried hard , till their last breath . After putting him in protection , they had more kids but none were like him so it was safe . When he was 7 he heard his parents had died from vampires trying to protect their kids identity ." 

"Wow , that's such a sad tale ." Jen said with her eyes full of tears . 

"That kids name was Lewis ." he said turning his head away again . 

"That was you ? How does it not make you want to burst into tears ?" Liz said confidently , like she was going to cry herself . 

"I've forgotten about how hurt I was , it doesn't change anything now ." Lewis confirmed . 

"My parents were also killed by vampires ." Jen said , griping her arm . "But that's all I can say , I get too emotional ." she smiled while a tear rolled down her face . 

"Okay we are here ." Miss .Ellas parked the bus in front of a two story wooden hut . There was nothing else there besides that house . The rest of the land only consisted of trees . 

"This looks like something out of a horror movie ." Liz said trying to hide behind Rowen 

"Are you scared ?" Jen said mockingly .

"Pff , me scared ? Never ." Liz sounded even more nervous . 

"Okay guys we will be staying here the night ." Dylan said . "This is my private land but I ask you guys to please not do anything reckless ." He stared at Cat specifically .

A few hours passed , everyone was sleeping or so it seemed . Rowen woke up , thinking he was dreaming , he got up and saw Liz missing . As calm as ever , not worried if it looked scary or not , he walked outside as quiet as possible . He followed this bright light , which meant climbing onto the roof . Rowen gave a big sigh and jumped to the roof using his bow and arrow attached to string .

"Liz ?" Rowen called out .

"You scared me ." Liz tried to keep her voice down , her blond hair hung to her hips and her wings glowed lightly . 

"What are you doing up here ?" Rowen took a seat next to Liz , hugging his knees . 

"I haven't seen the moon in a while I thought I would come up here ." Liz explained in a soft and sensitive voice , it was like she was a different person . 

"Can I ask , why are you in special forces ?" Rowen said looking at Liz . 

"Well , I'm not from this world , people want knowledge from me ." Liz said entrusting him . "I don't even know how I got here , I one day woke up here all alone . What about you ?" she was curious , and well she told him her story , she deserves his . 

"Well , to be honest the same thing happened to me ." Rowen said looking straight into Liz's beautiful blue eyes . "I mean we are the only of our kind here , I miss my world ." 

"I can't say I miss it , I mean I got to meet amazing people here , I don't feel like leaving ." Liz smiled , Rowen thought , that smile was something to be kept in his heart . 

Rowen put his hand on Liz's neck , leaning forward , their eyes still connected , he leaned in more and kissed her . She couldn't  have hated it since she passionately kissed back , putting her hand on his neck as well .

Jen jumped onto the roof , screaming at Liz and Rowen "Hey you two wake up ." 

Liz and Rowen rose together , noticing their hands were intertwined , they quickly let go and blushed . "Sorry ." Rowen said in a sweet voice .

"Come pack up we need to leave ." Jen said jumping back down , she grabbed Dylans arm and whispered "Cats not going to agree with your plan ."

"She will understand , this is all to protect her ." Dylan said looking back into Jen's eyes and pulling his arm away slowly .
