A happy ending - Dylan's regret

Dylan sat there , still starring at the guy that appeared from behind the boxes . "Come on Dylan , why so frightened ?" He walked closer , Dylan couldn't move any more back , his body was aching and all beaten up . 

"Lewis cover me , I'm going to heal him ." Rowen instructed , as an elf he specialized in the healing arts .  

"No guys , you should escape ." Dylan tried to make them leave while they had the chance . "Jen , take them and leave !" He shouted . 

"I can't move ." Jen said falling , terrified . Just looking at this guy , his whole aura was so scary , the only ones not affected was Rowen and Lewis . Dylan could easily guess why . 

"Lets get started ." pulling off his mask , it wasn't a man at all . How did she manage to sound like one ? How did she do those things , pulling down her hood , they came to realize she was the mole . 

"You're the mole ?" Dylan said , he was able to stand now . "But why Miss . Ellas ?" 

"I wanted to win and you guys just seemed too weak to give me what I wanted ." She stood there and glared at them . 

"Did you not care at all ?" Jen asked . 

"I cared , but you never cared for me and our boss did ." She explained . "Our boss has given me everything and I've known him for years , I will know do as he says ." Miss . Ellas did a half transformation into a werewolf . "I will take you Dylan Arnold and I will kill anyone who gets in my way ." 

She went running on all four paws to them , Lewis stood protecting , using his wings he tried to at least puncture her , she dodged all his attacks and he flew to dodge her attack but it wasn't aimed for him . Rowen was still healing Dylan , what more could have been done . 

"Watch out !" Jen rushed in to save them both but she only ended up with Dylan in her arms . "Where's Rowen ?" Turning around , expecting the worst case scenario . "No , I failed ." 

Dylan stared , Miss . Ellas had Rowen in her mouth , "I can try heal myself , don't worry about me ." he began screaming as her teeth sunk deeper into his skin , he whispered to himself so no one else could hear . "but I honestly don't think I will make it ." he smiled , closing his eyes tears rolled down his cheeks . "What a short life , I'll try till the very end ." placing his hand inside the mouth of a raging beast that was once human , he began to rip out her teeth slowly . 

"Jen , we must trust him , right now we must worry about Melanie and whether the boss is here or not ." Dylan said standing in a defensive position . 

"I Doubt he is , I'm pretty sure Miss . Ellas wouldn't have shown herself alone if he was here ." Jen replied tying up her long red hair , it was the color of tomatoes or a bright red colored chili . Melanie came running , attempting an attack but Jen refused to hold back . As the only person turned by the vampire king , it would be a shame if she wasn't nearly as strong as him . "Seems I need to rely on his power , god I hate him ." she smiled and began to drain Melanie's power . 

"What are you doing to me ?" Melanie said , she now got slower . 

"I would have considered dating you if you weren't evil ." Jen said , still holding her hands straight up . "Why did you become like this anyway ?" 

"Really want to know ? I'll show you ." Melanie froze everyone , she walked up to Jen and touched her hand . "I wish it wasn't like this ." 

Melanie was just born , it was only 23 years ago , her parents died from the amount of energy she was releasing uncontrollably , the doctors in the room had also died . She was kept in a sealed and cubed place in a science lab . The witch looking after her went by the name of Logan , he was the only man to actually be able to walk in in the same room as her without protection . When he had a child , this child appeared more powerful than Melanie , both Logan and his son would help Melanie control her power . Melanie turned 8 years old and finally got adopted by some humans , she was overjoyed . In the 2 years she spent with her new family , she was treated as an outcast , bullied , tortured and she suffered . She got sick of it , she couldn't kill them as she still felt love for them , Melanie ran away . No one bothered to find her or go look for her , after a week of crying , starving and living on the streets , Logan came to her and took her in . He had a family of his own so he couldn't take her there , he bought a special house just for her and supplied her with everything , she grew attached to him , at the age of 13 he tried to rape her . At first she said no but then as he kissed her she wanted more , she wanted it all . They had an affair . She would have done anything for him and he created an organization , which she joined . Logan is their boss . 

Unfreezing the time , Melanie let go of Jen . "You see Jen ? Logan is the only one I trust ." 

"Why did it turn out like this ?" Jen stopped draining Melanies energy . Jen leaned in closer , kissing Melanie . She kissed the enemy ? Everyone was shocked . "Your hair is really pretty and I like you too .  I really wish things were different ." Jen touched Melanies hair , moving it out her face .

Melanie also looked quite shocked , her beautiful blue eyes began to cry . "Why did you do that ?" 

"A memento , one you can take to your grave ." Jen said moving further from her , Dylan on his two feet again , used his magic to focus , in less than 2 seconds Melanie fell to the floor . They had no choice , Dylan used his power to make Melanie's brain explode .
