Max's POV
"YOURE STILL IN LOVE WITH HIM?!" Emiley squealed with excitement.
"He doesn't love me though... he's the one who cheated on me, remember?" tears threatening to spill at the memory, I looked down at the ground.
"Oh yeah.... I'm sorry for bringing that up...." she said her voice trailing off.
"It's alright. I'm fine" I said convincingly. I showed her a bright fake smile and she bought it.
My phone beeped telling me it's time for soundcheck. I sighed, "time for soundcheck" I stepped out of my bunk being careful not to hit my head.

After soundcheck was over, I decided to hang out with my best friend, Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men.
"Hai" I said, looking up at Austin. He was very tall compared to me (which I kinda hated).
"Hey" he smiled at me. "How are you?" He wondered as he stared into my eyes.
"Truth or lie?" I asked.
"Truth, duh" he said in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Horrible" I said staring at the ground, tears blurring my sight as the rimmed my eyes, threatening to fall out. I bit my lip to hold the tears back, thankfully, it was successful. I could stand to have Austin see me cry.
"Why is that?" I looked up at him, then started to speak, "I ran into my ex" I replied.
"The one who cheated on you? When did you run into him?" he asked. What is this 20 questions? "Uh... yeah... he's in that band, Sleeping With Sirens I think. Apparently, he's the lead singer"
"Kellin?! No way! He's a really nice guy! I don't understand why he'd cheat on you. I mean, you're the prettiest girl I know..." I slightly blushed at his comment. "Oh really? What about your girlfriend?" I retorted. "Oh uh Lexi? I found out she was cheating the ENTIRE relationship" he explained. "I always knew there was something... off, about her. She flirted with EVERY boy she laid her eyes on!" I scoffed and rolled my eyes as I playfully nudged him. I always knew she was a whore.
His phone vibrated, signaling he got a text. He took out his phone and slid his large thumb across the screen to unlock his iphone.
"I have to be on in 30, text me later, yeah?" he stated. It sounded more like a question like he wasn't sure.
"Yeah. Alright. Bye" I said watching him jog away to the venue. I waved and walked to my bus.
