You need to listen to the music while reading to make it more emotional! I almost full on cried..
When we arrived Peter carried me inside to one of Tony's labs and put me on one of the tables. Tony took of my jacket and then let Friday scan me.
"She seems to have a extraordinary high fever at 97 degrees celcius and climbing."
"What?! That should be impossible!" Peter exclaimed.
"Well being cursed and live for a thousand years should also be impossible."
This wasn't the first time this was happening, last time was in 1243 and I knew what was happening to me. I gathered my strength.
"Peter." I said turning my head towards them.
He rushed to my side.
"This has happened before, you..you don't need to worry. I, I just want you to be far away from me. All of you." I said in a low voice.
"No, we're not leaving you here."
"Peter you don't understand, I'm becoming unstable. I won't be able to control my dragon shifting ability, and can turn this place into a pile of ash."
He looked unsure of what to do.
"What is she saying?" Tony asked.
"She says that it has happened before and that she's becoming unstable, so she wants us far away from her."
Now he too looked unsure. Should they trust her and leave or should they stay?
"Go, please just go. I could hurt you. I don't want to hurt you." I whispered to Peter.
"I have hurt far to many already."
"But Cassie we can't leave you here alone! What if it's worse this time and you die?" he responded with tears in his eyes.
I shook my head and gathered the last of my strength.
"GO! Please..."
Tony looked unsure but I looked at him with tired eyes and he could see my eyes turning green. He grabbed Peters arm and pulled him away.
"No! Mr. Stark stop! Please! I can't leave her!" he said pulling away.
But Tony didn't give up and dragged him out the room leaving me on the table unconscious with flames growing around me.
Another day another chapter! So I know this chapter was VERY short.. but I just hit 1k reads!!! I can't thank you enough!! I know I say it a lot but I truly mean it! Love you guys soo much! <3
