Chapter 15

Steve's POV

Cassie had just fallen out the window and when I looked over the edge she had flown away. I went to the medical lab and brought out the first aid kit.

"Where is Cassie going?" Bucky asked.

"I don't know."

He walked up to me and saw my arm that was bleeding from three wounds, they were not deep.

"What happened to your arm?" he asked.

I hesitated before answering.

"I messed up Buck."

"What are you talking about?"

"Not long ago she storming in and went right into her room where she cried into her pillow. I wanted to know why she was so upset so I knocked on her door asking if I could come in, she kept telling me to go away. I decided to open the door and talk to her, but when I walked in she had scales on her skin and her eyes were green. When I approached her she backed away and kept pushing so I got closer and reached out to take her hand and calm her down. But she smacked it away and left me alone with wounds on my arm. I messed up Buck. And now I don't know where she is or when she's planning on coming back."

I bandaged up my arm and sat down on a chair with my face in my hands. I had really messed out, I knew that she was not alright after being in a coma I could see it on her. But I had to push my luck.

"Do you know why she was so upset?" Buck asked.

I shook my head.

"I know."

We turned around and saw Tony in the door with his tablet.

"She was upset because of this." he said and gave us the tablet.

The news was on and you could see a video someone had filmed where Cassie shifted and stopped a bus, but also how the people ran away from her. The head line on the story was "Monster in New York threatens to kill and destroy the city". I sighed and gave back the tablet to Tony.

"We have to go after her." I said standing up.

"How? We have no idé of where she might be." Tony said.

We were quiet and thinking of where she could've gone.

"I think I know where she is." Buck finally said.

"Remember how she told us that she loved being in the mountains because they could reach so high up that it was harder to find or see her up there? And that she had a special place in Sweden where she always went when she was feeling down?"

"She must have gone there."

"But how do we know that she isn't in Asgard with Loki?"

There was silence again and we started to lose hope when we heard a noise and saw a green light appear.

"Because I am here." a voice said.

We spun around and saw Loki stand there with a murderous look in his eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Tony asked.

"I have come to find Cassandra, as she seems very upset. Something that you may have caused." he said with a cold voice.

"How can we trust you to not go on a killing spree?" Tony asked.

"Because Cassandra is more important to me at this very moment."

Me, Buck and Tony shared a look.

"I grew up with her and she was the only one who understood me." he explained shortly.

We nodded in understanding, slightly.

"I assume you don't know that me and Lady Cassandra have a mind link."

"A mind what?" I asked.

"A mind link, our minds are connected so we can feel each others feelings and hear each others thoughts." he explained.

Me, Tony and Buck shared a confused look.

"You Midgardians are so small minded." he mumbled to himself.

"Okay, can you help us find her or not?" Tony asked as he was getting more and more impatient.

"Of course I can, you are after all talking to a god."

Tony rolled his eyes and we watched as Loki closed his eyes to focus. It was quiet, if you dropped a needle you would definitely hear it. After a while I had enough.

"So?"

"She is in the mountains, high up above the clouds. In a land called..Sweden? What an odd name." Loki answered as he opened his eyes.

"Let's go then, we'll take the quinjet." Tony ordered as he told Friday to prepare the jet.

We walked outside and saw as it rose up on a platform to the ground, Loki told us that he'd meet us there. As soon as we were on the plane we took of with Tony driving it.

(Also this is really bad and I haven't really figured out where this is going but just bear (don't know if that's how you spell it..)  with me and hopefully my writing will be better as the story goes on!)
