I already talked about this a looong time ago and I'll say it again: John didn't duel Lee for Hamilton, and he would've gone to the duel with or without Ham.
Also, can I just say that I never understood the aftermath of the duel?? I mean, it was John who grabbed a gun and shot a bitch, why is Hamilton the one getting in trouble? I guess it was for drama proposes considering the fact that Hamilton wasn't even sent home because of the duel. In fact, he left himself cause he was sick of Washington's anger issues.
So yeah, I love you Lin but what the heck.
