So this battle took place in July 28, 1778. John was injured on the right shoulder during this battle and as always nobody is surprised,

Because John Laurens.

Charles Lee, well, he didn't know what the hell he was doing and so he ordered a hasty retreat. A court martial occurs because of this, and John was most definitely not happy, it literally went:

Lee: Were you ever in an action before?

Laurens: I have been in several actions; I did not call that an action, as there was no action previous to the retreat.

Friendly reminder that Charles Lee, a forty six year old, is literally being roasted by a salty twenty four year old.

During the trial Charles Lee was talking shit about Washington, which as we know ended up with the duel.

Also, fun fact, Washington wasn't actually angry about the duel, Laurens and Hamilton literally had a Christmas dinner with him two days after it occurred.

Anyway, sorry guys for updating so little and so shitty chapters. I've been feeling like dmdjsksjs shit and the only reason I update the Lams reasons book is because all the chapters are prewritten. I'm sorry, thanks for your patience, I love y'all <3
